    Excellent bang for the buck

Stock KLR suspension is very soft but very balanced. Equal sag front and rear. But it's very mushy even when the bike is unladen. It might work for a 140 lb rider, but at 220lbs in gear + whatever luggage is on the back, it suffers. I purchased the white spring (7.4kg/mm) to replace the stock (5.1kg/mm). I also recommend picking up a set of tusk spring compressors to do the job. It took me about 1.5 hours start to finish to replace the spring and get the bike on the ground. Now with preload at 1 (minimum) it feels fantastic and gives me a lot of room to worth with for preload for a passenger or a lot of luggage.

    Just what the bike needed

These fork springs made the bike ride 100% better. No more major fork dive under braking or bottoming on the smallest obstacles. These are a must for any KLR 650 (especially 07 and earlier) unless you do a USD fork conversion. Add the eagle mike fork brace along with these springs and you have made your KLR like whole new bike.

    AMAZING!

I recently revalved my suspension, and the stock nylon collars were garbage. I replaced it with the Fastway Billet Shock Preload Collars and it works amazing. They don't strip from being under pressure from the shock spring, and they aren't damaged from hammering on them with punches, and look great on the bike. Absolutely worth every dime. I will absolutely buy again for my next KTM.

    Great upgrade from stock

These are a definite step up from most stock machines. They're not built as tough as Pep, Elka, WP, Axis and others, but the price point is right on with the Works Steelers. Adjustable and customized to your weight and riding style.

Best money I ever spent on the KLR.

After 63,000 miles I decided to upgrade the front suspension. I have since put on 2,000 miles. The improvement in the forks is amazing, small to medium washboard, ruts and ridges virtually disappear. Feels much like the European bikes, however the larger pot holes and bumps are still very noticeable due to limited suspension travel (I believe). I would recommend this upgrade to anyone who rides dirt and gravel roads.
