    Didn't Last Long

I bought this tire because a lot of guys I know rave about it. It is a very meaty tire with deep lugs that work great in sand and other soft terrain. If you ride single track trails in the woods and run on hard pack a lot this may not me the tire for you. I only got three rides out of it in the mountains and it was smoked. I will be going with something different next time.

These tire are a 3 star do to the tread pattern these are better than the ve35s but still not exactly a mud tire the tread doesn't clean very well when it gets muddy or the logs get wet they don't grip as well as I would like but they do wear like iron though but I'd like to see the tread changed a little and maybe them losing a little durability to gain a stickier tire and the price is great I feel irc is on to some great tires with a couple tweeks they could be the only tire anyone wants

    My fav all around tire

I've been running this tire lately in 5.10-18 and it's a beast. Also used to race on it and the M5B on a fire breathing XR350. They must have updated the compound, because they seem lighter than before. Still an HD tire that works everywhere and wears very well. Highly recommended!

    Weak sidewalls

IRC TR-11 front tube-type running low with Tubliss lasted 1700 miles and 184 hours (95% dirt) but the sidewalls are just not strong enough. Eventually there was a "flex zone" along the sidewall and cuts appeared. IRC TR-11 rear is tubeless with strong sidewalls and is still running even though the knobs are down to about 2 mm. I replaced the front with a Pirelli M43 which is looking good so far.

Awesome grip with rtough sidewalls for Tubliss

IRC TR-11 front tube-type running low with Tubliss lasted 1700 miles and 184 hours (95% dirt) but the sidewalls are just not strong enough. Eventually there was a "flex zone" along the sidewall and cuts appeared. IRC TR-11 rear is tubeless with strong sidewalls and is still running even though the knobs are down to about 2 mm. I replaced the front with a Pirelli M43 which is looking good so far. I will soon buy the same TR-11 again to replace the rear. The tread rubber is like tough closed cell foam. Extraordinary grip. And I expect the first one will go to 2500 miles so that is not bad.
