I got 5000 miles out of 2 rears, using the same front through both of them. I did light touring with mixed cruising-twisty day rides on these, no long days on the superslab. My offroad experience was limited, but very good. I was caught on a dirt county road shorty after a mag-chloride mix was applied, which made for an uncomfortably slick top layer for 5 miles, which these tires handled great. Regular dirt is fine without a hot wrist. The on-road grip was very good IMO, the feedback was less than other sportier tires. Slight squaring off the rears at time of replacement, but it was a rounder flat area in the rear, the dual compound helped it from become so square it ruins the handling. Front is nearing needing to be replaced at 10k, there is some 'scalloping' of the tread, handing has not been affected. FYI for any buyer, these tires are louder than street tires, slight hum will be noticeable under 65 mph. Ran 33-36 front and 38-42 rear based on load.Read All Reviews

Story: at about 3k on the tire. Warm twisty pavement in the mountains about 60 degrees. I was completing a text book pass on a open curve. Truck I was over taking missed the right hand contour of the road I was loosing half of my lane and did not know how much the truck was going to take. I had to brake hard leaned over.Braking leaned in a curve was smooth with this 15/85% tire. No wet traction experience with this tire other than a stream crossing. About 100 miles on dirt roads no issues for a 15/85% tire. I have worn .5mm off on the front in 4k. Tire will age out before I wear it out.Read All Reviews

I’ve had two of these rear tires. The first one lost a big section of tread at about 900 miles. The tread ripped right off the tire carcass. The second one would not hold air longer than two days and under inspection I found a deep crack around the centerline of the tire. I had to remove it at 350 miles and buy a new tire. I have been waiting for over a month now for a refund from Avon. I will never buy a new Avon tire again.Read All Reviews

Im using this tire on a homemade single wheel trailer. so its hard to rate the tire for its proper use. i got the tire because it is rated for 94mph. Most scooter tires seem to be rated in the 50's. so pulling a trailer behind my FJR i would exceed 50 quite often. works good so farRead All Reviews
