When you can get a tire that offers excellent longevity and doesn’t break the bank, you know you’ve found a winner.
Originally founded in Osaka, Japan, Shinko has a history in the tire industry dating back to 1946. As they refined their processes and expanded, they eventually purchased the tire technology and molds that Yokohama (a century-old company) had been developing. This has resulted in motorcycle tires that represent the pinnacle of Japanese engineering, tires which provide exceptional quality. In order to better manage manufacturing costs while maintaining the high standards that Shinko demands from its tire line, all tires are produced in South Korean factories. It’s an outstanding combination that has put them on the map in the motorcycle scene.

Highly recommended for vintage bikes. Great grip dry and wet, very neutral handling, and the feel stays great all the way down to the wear markers. Incredible value. Only downside is that they don't last as long as some more expensive brands. If you ride a ton of miles in a year or have to pay to have tires mounted, your cost per mile may be better with a more expensive tires. I'm getting about 3,000 - 3,200 miles per set on my 1983 Suzuki GS850G, but I ride VERY hard. Normal people usually get close to double the mileage.Read All Reviews

I bought this tire because of its price. The only reason its even gets 3 stars is because of the value. Otherwise, I was not happy with the performance of this tire. Compound seems hard and slick. it would slip under moderate cornering and leaves much to be desired. Wet traction is pretty awful as well. Be careful. If you just need some rubber on your bike, this will do the trick, if you're looking for performance, look elsewhere and spend a little extra $ on a better tire.Read All Reviews
