Decent sand tire. Awful to mount.

Just dandy in the sand, this thing was hands-down the most awful, swear word-provoking motorcycle tire I've ever mounted. It's almost like the beads are a few millimeters too small and it was nearly impossible to get on, even with the mega-long ZipTy tire levers. If you buy it, plan on paying someone else to mount it.

    Great sand tire

Digs great and I've got about 6 to 8 hours on it so far and it's holding up great even with some riding on regular dirt in patches , not much side grip like any paddle tire but a great tire for the money

For riding in sand I have not found better

I rode at Croom in Fl and have ridden the duens in CA many times with and without paddles and thought about trying to use a small profile paddle in FL. This tire rocks - I love the way it hooks up but it actually seems to turn better than i have seen whether you are dragging the brakes or under power,

    Dunlop MX11 Geomax Sand/Mud Tire

Worst front tire I've used in 20 years of riding and racing. Ordered it in 2015, and it was date coded Oct. 2012, so apparently they're not selling many of these. Mine was probably already dried out, but it was not particularly good in sand or mud, and it was downright dangerous on mixed or hard surfaces. Feels very vague, and washes out everywhere. The knobs are too small and too rounded, so they fold right over on harder surfaces, and don't move any sand in softer surfaces. I would recommend something like a pirelli scorpion MX410 tire much more highly than this for sand. This is the first tire I've ever removed before it even showed any wear, it's that bad.
