Motocross helmets provide the ultimate in off-road racing headgear. Designed for the rigors of motocross, these helmets appeal to everyone from professional racers to casual trail riders. Why? Quite simply, there’s no such thing as too much protection when it comes to your head – especially when you’re riding an off-road powerhouse.
So what really separates a high-end motocross helmet from the rest? Traditional helmet testing is held to strict standards, but it is wholly inadequate when considering the accidents that are faced in actual environments. While most helmets provide sufficient protection from direct impacts, most accidents actually involve an angular impact, resulting in rotational energy being transferred directly to the brain, leading to head trauma. High-end motocross helmets consider this in their engineering, helping to reduce to energy transfer to the brain by absorbing it using proven technology. Furthermore, when a helmet must be removed by emergency personnel after an accident, motocross helmets often have removable cheek pads to ease removal and reduce the likelihood of further injury.
But there is more to motocross helmets than listing off safety features or DOT/Snell certifications. The tightknit feeling that the MX community has established has created a unique flair and culture not duplicated anywhere else. As a result, these helmets display a visual appearance that blends the raw energy and refined focus characteristic of the sport.

Ordered the moto-9 flex when it went on sale and ordered it in a medium. I have never had any issues fitting into any medium and what was funny about this was that I tried a medium moto-9 flex on in a local shop and it fit great, they just didn't have a color I liked. Ordered on through here and it fit great around the head it was just extremely tight around the cheeks. Tried wearing it hoping the cheek pads would break in and I was chomping on my cheeks the whole ride. I went ahead and ordered some thinner cheek inserts, so I'm hoping that corrects the problem, but Bell.....if you're listening, maybe slide those cheek pad sizes down a size in each helmet so that they're a little thinner in each size. After some research, it turns out, it's a pretty common issue for people with this bucket. Aside from all that, the helmet is great. A bit of the red from the EPS liner has rubbed off after one use, but that's not a big deal.Read All Reviews

This helmet isn't very expensive but I know it's safe, thats why I bought it. The top liner is surprisingly cheap, I worked in a high volume dealership and had a lot helmets, but i haven't had one where the front of the liner isn't fastened to the helmet. If you don't put the helmet on just right or hold the liner it bunches up and makes it feel like you need the next size. Mine still isn't broke in though. Wasn't sure if it fit. Just seems cheap.Read All Reviews

I like how the helmet looks and the amount of protection it provides. My only complaint is the sizing runs a little small. I have always worn a size Large but when I purchased this helmet, I noticed the forehead area is tighter than usual. It can be a little uncomfortable if wearing for long periods of time.Read All Reviews

This helmet is light. I find it super comfortable and it fits my goggles well. Some guys are having issues with goggle fit. Not here. The turbine feature may cause the helmet to be somewhat crooked on your head even though it feels right. Just get in front of a mirror and jerk it straight and you’re good to go. I think the liner may have been crooked from the factoria. Has all the bells and whistles of new helmet technologies. The cheek pads feel a bit tight but i am sure thats good considering it had a MIPS style liner. Common sense guys, it’s a carbon helmet. You crash with it it’s compromised. Treat it accordingly.Read All Reviews
