I bought this tire to replace a MotoZ Tractionator (worst rear tire I've ever had). The Trakmaster has proven to be a great choice for the hard-packed rocky, dusty, sandy, Southern California deserts and mountains where I ride. The tread blocks are fairly soft and flexible so the street will chew it up pretty quickly. I've put 300 miles of 80/20 dirt/street on it and it's wearing pretty good with no chunking or missing knobs. I'll be happy to get 700 miles out of it and throw on a fresh one for another $60.Read All Reviews

It seemed like this would be a long lasting tire, the compound seemed fairly hard, the blocks were large, and it looked like it was good quality. Unfortunately after one tame trail ride weekend, the tire is 50% worn. The rear tire is surprisingly slippery around turns, but in slow speed technical riding, the tire is decent at finding grip.Read All Reviews

This thing is a great tire. Traction everywhere! I was previously running the 505 which is also a great tire, but let me down in certain places. ie soft stuff, loose downhill braking, mud, ect... So I thought I'd pick up the 525 to help in those situations and it did exactly what I wanted it to, but at a cost...it wears about twice as fast as the 505. Especially if you ever ride fast wide open desert, or REALLY rocky stuff. If I rode exclusively wooded single track I would never switch tires. Here in CO we ride a bit of everything except that super slick PNW stuff. Now this tire still works great in the soft and hard pack desert but it definitely gets chewed up. I will be trying the a motoz arena hybrid gummy next in hopes of getting the same traction but better wear.Read All Reviews

These tires are fantastic for on/off road use. Excellent grip for asphault and fantastic grip on dirt roads. They do fill up in sticky mud but overall are a great choice for someone looking for a cost effective 50/50 tire. I have them mounted on my road leagal CRF450x and they are fantastic.Read All Reviews

I have been using the Michelin s12 front tires for years. now I'm using the star cross 5 soft terrain in the front. I ride everything from rocks and mud, sand to hard pack. they steer great, bite in all conditions on my newer KTM'S and my vintage pentons. 2 strokes only in my garageRead All Reviews
