  • A.R.C. BattleBorn Adventure Jacket

    A.R.C. BattleBorn Adventure Jacket

    michael in WA

This is an amazing Enduro jacket....at any price!

Started today's trail ride in my new A.R.C. jacket with outside temps around 40 deg under cloudy skies. Zipped up with the liner removed wearing only a tee shirt, body armor, and mesh jersey. I sayed perfectly worm through the mud and deep water holes. Mid-day the sun came out and the temps went to 60. I opened three vent zippers on the A.R.C. jacket and it was like I turned on the air conditioning. This is an amazing jacket. I removed the back and shoulder armor from the jacket and found the it still fit perfectly over my body armor. High quality, super comfortable, built in armor, and water resistant. I could not have hoped for anything more!

  • Acerbis Rain Jacket

    Acerbis Rain Jacket

    Mimi in CA

    Nice compact rain jacket

I haven't had a chance to ride in the rain with it yet, but it looks well made and is generously cut, has long sleeves that won't creep up in the riding position, as well as velcro closures on the wrist cuffs to help seal the weather out. Very light and compact for stuffing into the backpack. I'm sure that living and riding here in Southern California, I'll end up using it as a windbreaker for those days that get a little chilly up in the mountains more than I will be able to use it for getting caught in the rain.

  • Fox Racing Legion Jacket 2017

    Fox Racing Legion Jacket 2017

    eric in CA

Good but tight in the elbows.

This jacket seems rock solid. The material used seems rought and very durable, especially in the shoulder areas. The material does indeed bead off water well too. The only thing I dont love is the slim fitting section of the elbows. I'm 6 ft 185lbs and I find the elbow area on the large size jacket to be snug when bending my elbows. I doubt if I would be able do even put the padding in the elbows that is sold seperatly. Other, than that I think this jacket is a great buy. I haven't used it yet but I'm thinking of sending it back for an XL just to see of the elbow space more roomy.

  • Moose Racing XCR Pullover Jacket

    Moose Racing XCR Pullover Jacket

    ROBERT in WI

Just as expensive but not nearly as nice as old Moo...

I bought this to replace an older Moose XCR jacket I’d had for probably 20 years but which got torn badly when I lost a jousting match with a downed pine tree I’d misjudged as I came around a corner. Reading the product description, it sounded like the new XCR pullover jacket was just like the old one I loved except black. However, when it arrived & I put it on, I was disappointed. It fits tighter than the old jacket & was a bit snug over my chest protector & Camelback. It also lacks the mesh lining the old jacket had - which puts a very rubbery / plasticy material up against your skin if you’re not wearing long sleeves underneath. The feeling pretty much made my skin crawl & I couldn’t get it off fast enough. The material also isn’t as heavy as the old jacket & I question its durability. I returned it immediately. It’s way too much money for a jacket I don’t like. Moose used to have the best gear, but that doesn’t seem to be true anymore. Bummer

  • Klim Terrafirma Dust Suit

    Klim Terrafirma Dust Suit

    DALE in MI

This is a very nice dust suit, however, the manufacture should consider changing the design of the full length zipper to a "two way zipper" so it could be shortened if need be. The suits inseam runs very long. My XL runs at about a 36" inseam and I normally wear a 31" inseam, making it annoyingly long. I took it to a seamstress and she said it is impossible to shorten this one way zipper the way it ends at the bottom. The other leg, or the right side, is in fact a two way zipper...Why not the left side a "two way zipper" also so it can be altered? Other than that, the workmanship it great!
