    Work as it should

It's a filter. Not much you can say. Seems to work great. I got the 90 degree version. And put it on my ktm 300. 90 degree made it easier to mount.

    Prefilter

Works good stays in while fueling. Great for a prefilter in my fuel injected bike since I had to replace the fuel pump prior to using this. Now with this I shouldn’t have anymore problems.

    KTM OEM Inline Fuel Filter

    Must have!

My 2016 250 xc-f with only 15 hours would die after just starting it and giving it some throttle, after some research I decided to replace the inline fuel filter. It made a night and day difference! Bike runs great now! Plus, it comes in a pack of three.

    Not for rough terrain

No question to the added filtering and protection to keep dirt out of your tank but my experience with the KTM filter bag were not good at all riding rough trails. I had one installed in my '16 500 EXC 6 Days and on my recent trip riding Hatfield most difficult trails it started spitting fuel out of the fuel cap vent line (with full tank). Filling up my carbon canister with gasoline and stalling my bike. After disconnecting the hose from the canister it kept spitting gasoline visible out of the the vent line. Only solution was to remove this tank filter bag and spitting stopped immediately. I can only imagine that fuel that sits in the tubular shape filter gets pushed out of the top when the fuel in the tank pushes against it. My bike was covered in gasoline that day - dripping all over the header pipe as well. Besides that filling the tank is a pain with this filter I would go rather with a bigger inline filter. Since I bought the bike used I have to say I don't know how old (max 2 years) this filter was and how often it should be changed to perform well.
