Do you thrive on the rush of adrenaline you get in every epic moto battle? Suit up for your race with a motocross chest protector or set of body armor. If you do, you’ll be ready to enter the thick of the action at any moment. When you’re tearing up the track in the middle of a race, you don’t want anything stopping you from gaining ground on your competition and passing them up. Don’t allow their roost to deter you. When you’re wearing a roost deflector, you can focus on the task at hand – winning – rather than worry about what the bike in front of you might fling up.
When we set out to build our inventory of motocross chest protectors and armor, we made sure to gather a wide variety of options to accommodate as many riders as possible. You’re welcome to browse our selection to see exactly what is available, but you also might want to utilize the filters on the left side of the page. For example, you can narrow your options just to those products that offer complete body armor, conveniently fit under your jersey or thoughtfully accommodate neck braces for a more complete level of protection. You can also filter by size or color to make sure that you find something that will both fit your body and complement your existing motocross gear.
We carry a number of excellent brands that are known for safety: EVS, Leatt, Fox, Alpinestars, Fly and many others. We stock a variety of styles, ensuring that you find exactly the right level of protection you want with a look that you can be proud of. We’ve assembled a large selection of motocross chest protectors to ensure that you aren’t just getting the protection you need; you’re also getting the choices you crave.
And if you’re concerned about a particular product’s fitment or level of protection, just take a moment to read the customer reviews. There’s nothing quite like learning from a fellow motocross racer’s experience. Check them out now!

Purchased because it seemed to offer a high level of protection and also covered the lower ribs (which is rare). Unfortunately like most of my other Leatt purchases the construction and quality is sub-par, especially considering the price. The mesh fabric of which all the armor is loosely sewn to rips very easily. Mine ripped in several places just from putting it in/taking it off. If you wear this without a jersey it’ll likely get snag and something quickly and rip extensively. The zipper is awkward and too tight putting undo strain on the already weak stitching in the area when zipping up. Finally, as mentioned before, the stitching attaching the armor to the mesh is as weak/weaker than the fabric it attaches to. My left shoulder pad completely ripped off and now must be affixed with zip-ties. Maybe a seamstress can fix this but most likely they’ll turn the job away as there’s no suitable fabric to attach to. I've had mine for a couple of years now. I am getting older and refuse to slow down so I figured I would gear up. I have taken many "dirt samples" while wearing this, including some hard over the bars and high sides. My last crash, as I was flying through the air, the thing going through my mind was literally, I'm glad I have my gear on. Haha! I only have a couple of little issues, which is why I put a 4 on comfort. It is great in the cold weather but very warm when it is hot out. The other is that the spine protector is a little long for my torso so I have to leave it on the outside of my pants with jersey untucked. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!Read All Reviews
