That’s why we’ve got over 100 products for your consideration . Just remember to keep your safety needs at the top of your mind while shopping. It’s important to get gear that will offer appropriate protection according to your riding habits.

We carry many roost deflectors that are the ideal solution when you’re looking for chest protectors, especially if you find yourself on the trail more often than not. They offer a layer of security that allows you to focus on the technical aspects of the ride and enjoy the scenery without worrying about the stray rock that your buddy up ahead might kick up. You only need a good chest protector once to be glad you have it – or to regret that you don’t.

If you’re the type that really enjoys mixing up riding on pavement in order to get to your next trail, you can’t fool around with your protective gear. You’ve got to identify armor that will offer sufficient protection regardless of where you’re riding. Full body armor sets or pressure suits are the only way to go in this case. Make sure to use the body armor filter on the left side of the page if you believe this appropriately matches your needs.

We have several different types of dual sport chest protectors and protection jackets to ensure that you get exactly the amount of protection that you need. We have a number of roost deflectors that are perfect for a good level of protection for your chest and torso. We have individual back protectors as well. Pricey but Good

I have switched to this protector from a different brand built with hard plastics in the sensitive locations. Wearing the Leatt I barely notice that I wear a protector at all. That for it first felt like you are lacking protection but a few crashes later I must say it works just as well as those hard plastic versions. I had to exchange the first model because it was way too small. I would say sizing does run on the smaller end. Also as I have read on many reviews that the zippers on Leatt products are being reason for complains it is the same here - not very trustworthy! Having to take out all foam pads for washing the protector is a little annoying and a hassle but since those multi layers of foam pads seem to be taped together I would not recommend to wash it with the pads installed. Overall its a good product but the price is definitely high!

    Don't ride without it

To give some info about myself: 23 yr old male 180 lbs. 6'4: I ordered the L/XL and it fits perfect. I have noticed that if you strap on the kidney belt too tight, the zippers in the back want to come undone. I did notice it getting a little warm, and it was a nice, cool, 60 degree day, but I also had 3 layers on. I've laid my bike down 5 or 6 times with this on and haven't felt a thing. It's a huge lifesaver and I wouldn't ride without it on. It is bulkier than a standard roost protector, but offers superior protection in my opinion. I wanted the extra protection because I'm a new rider and understood that I would be most likely falling over quite a bit. I'd rate this as a must have, along with a helmet, gloves, and riding boots.
