I will agree with the person who stated: "I had 2 of the bolts strip out my triple tree when removing the bolts" and "The bolts went in easy but got tighter with each turn on the way out." Fortunately, I didn't strip my triple tree, but the bolts exhibited the same defective behavior upon removal. I chased the threads using an 8mm x 1.25mm pitch die and they worked normally. I would recommend this or simply buying better hardware. The bolts, as shipped, are out of spec; perhaps over-plated? The riser blocks are nicely finished and appear to be very solid. The cables lengths on a DR-Z 400S seem fine after installation and the ergonomics are much improved for a tall rider.Read All Reviews

I bought these to install Protaper 1-1/8" handlebars. I was concerned this would be a weak point for the bars to twist or the bolts to bend for the risers. These have taken countless falls in the dirt and rocks, and I haven't had to adjust my cars once yet. I highly recommend these if you want to go from 7/8ths to 1-1/8th bars.Read All Reviews

2015 CRF 450R. I have the oversized Pro Taper bar mounts for my oversized Pro Taper bars. They're the black ones sold by RM. I got the Tusk Oversized Big Bar Clamp Kit to raise them 3/4" as I'm 6'2" and feeling crouched when racing. When I attempted to install them, the Pro Taper holes did not line up to accept the Tusk through bolts. Bolt length and pitch was compatible. I sized it up to my 2007 CRF 450x with stock bar mounts, and holes lined up perfect. Nothing wrong with the product but felt it could use a comment stating these two parts are not compatible. I also would have preferred the Tusk kit come with 10mm hex head top bolts vs. the allen just to make quick adjustments with T handle wrenches between the motos. Those allen keys are always on the loose!Read All Reviews
