  • Wolfman Wolf Tail Bag

    Good size and well built

Purchased this item to use on my WR250R. It fits my Scaggs rack well. Item appears to be well built, and came recommended by other local riders. Only used it on pavement so far since we just got it, but it looks like it will last well. The bungee fastening system seems to work well and allows for more than one way to mount the bag. The only complaints I've heard from local guys, is that the material holds dust well after a ride. Haven't heard from anyone with a durability complaint. Time will tell.

    Nicely built gear

Purchased this bag to put on the tail rack of my WR250R. The main reason for purchasing this bag was due to the fact that so many WR riders recommend and use it. I found it to be well built, but not large enough for the intended use. Turns out it's the perfect size to fasten directly to the seat of my wife's TTR125 so it solved the problem we had looking for luggage for her bike. The Wolfman products are well built, made in the USA gear. Ended up buying a Wolf Tail bag for the WR, and it's the perfect size. Now we have gear for both bikes.

    Nice bag

I have no problems with the bag. I think that the straps that are provided with the bag are a little lacking. They tend to loosen over rough ground. I ended up taping the D-rings to keep it from loosening. Otherwise the bag seems thick and durable. It's not made in the US like Wolfman and Giant loop.

Good Quality but Poor Attachment Method

The overall quality seems really high for the rack bag. But with no straps to secure the front of the bag, the fit on the rack is sloppy and will definitely flutter around at speed. If you can get the bag sufficiently secured to your bike, with either the provided straps or your ingenuity, you should be fine. However, it just didn't secure well enough on my KTM 1190 rack. My search continues...

  • Wolfman Boulder Beta Rear Bag

Wolfman Boulder Beta Rear Bag is the shiz!

I just returned yesterday from a six day adventure ride across the northwestern desert of Arizona. I used the Wolfman Boulder Beta Rear Bag on my 2007 KLR650. I prefer the cloth bags that don't require the metal framework. Inside the Boulder Beta Rear Bag, I packed everything I needed for the trip (except sleeping bag, ground cloth and tent). It held my clothes, coats, shoes, blanket, food, cooking utensils, Jetboil, electronic stuff, gloves, beanie, towel, toiletries and more. I felt that there was a lot of room inside the bag. The zipper shut and opened really easy (and it came with a dust/rain cover. It was easy to mount with 4 tie down straps. I really like how stable the bag was. It did not move around or slide. In fact, I mounted the bag close to my back so that I could lean against it for back support on long asphalt sections. When I was in the dirt and deep sand, I was able to stand up on the pegs and lean back against the bag and it did not move out of position. The bag is so solid and stable that you can secure other bags to the Boulder Beta Rear Bag. The quality of the bag is very high. Very tough material and it looks like it will last a long time. The bag came with inner "stuff bags" that were waterproof that made organization even better. I am extremely pleased with the bag and I highly recommend it to those looking for cloth travel bags.
