Inexpensive and it feels like it.

I'm not impressed with this mirror. It mounts poorly and shakes a lot. I bought this just to get my WR450 street legal. I would not recommend this for anything else. It moves quite a bit and you can't see anything while riding. Most of the time, I have this tied up out of the way while riding offroad.

    nice trail mirror

these work pretty good for the quick glance to see if the rider is still following you or to see traffic behind you. If I were going to be riding in town amid heavy traffic I don;t think I'd want this mirror but for my 90% off road dual sport they work great. I've dropped my bike many times and just readjusted them back with no damage.

Yep, I bought another to replace the first that I simply overused. I like the price and performance.

    Acceptable with mods

Like others, I found the mirror to be too loose, wandering on it's own when traveling down the road an inevitably resting on my hand or in some other awkward position where it provided no clue as to what was going on behind the bike. As is it will get you past inspection, but won't actually help on the road. On the trail it mostly stays flopped out of harms way, so it has that going for it. Not wanting to throw it away and spend 3 to 5 times more for the next tier up, I opted to try a cheap fix: One small stainless steel hose clamp around the top of the mirror bracket, encircling the mirror's ball mount. This allowed me to put useable clamping force on the base of the mirror stem and now when going down the road, the mirror stays put. With purposeful input you can move an reposition the mirror as needed too.
