Great on dry & hard surfaces

Stock tire on Yamaha WR250R. It makes a great dual sport tire on hardpack dirt and pavement. Not good in the wet. I have run at least 10 of these on my pair of WR250R because they work for 95% of my riding. I have to stay away from mud, and slow down on wet pavement, but they handle very well when the surface is dry. Not much use in sand, as another reviewer noted. Quiet and long-lasting (7K miles average).

    Bought for Florida Trip

I bought this tire to use on a trip to Florida. I have always used an intermediate tire here in Ohio and when I would visit Florida. Figured I would give this tire a try. It is a great balance between an intermediate and sand tire (one that has knobs more like paddles). It worked way better than any intermediate tire I've tried in Florida Sand. I only used it in sand, it has held up great.

    Not for the Rocky Mountains.

These tires are not for tubliss nor rocky terrain. Less than two miles into a rocky single track and both tires were slashed in multiple places, through the carcass, and resulted in a flat. 16 oz. of slime would not get me back to the truck.
