My bike came stock with BT016 Pro's and although I did consider switching them out for something different, I put a new set on. This tire does just about everything right and wears very well. With over 6.500 miles on the original rear tire, and subjected to all the power my bike puts down, these Battleaxes are have proved great for both the street and occasional track day. The service (lightening fast free shipping) and price I received from Jake Wilson has made me a lifetime customer.Read All Reviews

Perhaps not as much grip as the Pirelli sports tyres or SportSmarts, but handles very well and predictable. I get much better grip and life than the Michelin Pures and Powers, and about 2000klm of spirited riding and track days.Read All Reviews

I do a lot of commuting, local riding and sport touring on my Ninja 650R. My wife and I actually only have one car here in Denver, we both ride. My bike has 80,000 miles, 75k of which I've put on myself, so I've gone through a lot of different tires. I've put 7k so far on the T30s and they are what you expect out of a sport touring tire: long lasting (should outlast my last tires, the BT023 and Shinko Raven), good wet control (not as good as the PR3/4, but that's ok), grippy enough in the twisties to get yourself into some ear grinning trouble (but it's no track tire), very balanced when fully loaded both on interstate and 2 lane state roads. Here's where the T30 out shines every other sport touring tire I've tried: rough/grooved pavement! No joke, not sure what the other Colorado reviewer was talking about. I'd suggest he bump up his tire pressure. I ride through NASTY construction twice a day for work, returning at night. There is no additional lighting, the lanes are the minimum width, very twisty, the road is in miserable torn up condition and cars FLY through there doing atleast 55mph. The T30s are still motorcycle tires, it's not like driving a car through there, but they are incredibly stable. Add bonus? They keep their pressure well. I run 36F/38R local riding and bump it up to 38F/40R for heavy touring.Read All Reviews
