  • Hot Leathers Touring Leather Motorcycle Jacket

Hot Leathers Touring Leather Motorcycle Jacket

    Good riding jacket

I bought this jacket because it was of good quality leather and did not break my bank account. It is hard for me to find jackets that fit well as I am tall and skinny. I live in Utah a few miles from the warehouse in Payson so I was able to go in and try on different sizes before purchase. The large was too small for my shoulders and the extra large is too big for my torso. The jacket bunches up a bit when I am sitting with it zipped up and pushes the collar into my neck. But as long as I position the jacket right when I sit on my bike it sits comfortably for the entire ride. Overall this is a great jacket good quality leather and zippers good ventilation in the hot Utah summers and warm on cold days and nights. I would recommend this jacket to a friend, I only with they made a jacket with the extra large shoulder space and large torso space.

  • Alpinestars Andes Drystar Textile Motorcycle Jacket

Alpinestars Andes Drystar Textile Motorcycle Jacket

    Love it

I've tried cheaper jackets before this one. Don't waste your money on cheap jackets, especially if they have zip off sleeves. Alpinestars has made a great jacket for under $300 bucks! I have worn this jacket in below freezing weather and stayed warm. I have worn it in the rain and stayed completely dry too. I removed the shoulder pads since they make you look like a football player and the zipper zips up on the wrong side, like a girls jacket, it takes some getting used to but other than that I love it and strongly recommend it. I've worn it almost everyday for the last 2 months this winter and have no issues. Great quality and excellent fit.

  • Tourmaster Transition Series 3 Motorcycle Jacket

Tourmaster Transition Series 3 Motorcycle Jacket

    Construction and Price = A++

I've toured around the world with the basic Jet jacket. I've owned 3 of them over the years. After a minor crash and ripped jacket I upgraded & ordered the Transition. The quality and extra strength have really impressed me. Much better than the basic Jet. I love T.M. jackets and have been a loyal customer. The Transition is a great jacket with beefed up closures on wrist and neck. Length is slightly longer keeping your waist dryer. For the price I don't know why you wouldn't buy this jacket. They all last for 3 years with a daily rider.

  • Fly Racing Patrol Jacket

    Fly Racing Patrol Jacket

    Horrible Craftsmanship

I've sent back 3 of these jackets. I am not getting a forth. I was never even able to wear one so I can't comment on that. The first two jackets had broken zippers right out of the box and the third one had an inner sleeve that was sewn in wrong so you couldn't even get your arm thru it. The jacket looked nice but Fly Racing needs to inspect their products before sending them out. I do not recommend this jacket unless you have weeks to kill before you finally get one that isn't screwed up. I won't be buying any Fly Racing products until they put a little effort into the quality of what they sell. I'm giving this two stars only because the jacket looks nice, but looks won't get you out riding. The only good part of this transaction was from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. Every time I called with the problem they were very helpful and actually sent out a replacement jacket before they received my damaged one. They helped me find a different jacket, even though it was twice the price, but I'm sure I'll be happy with the new Alpinestars jacket.

  • River Road Laughlin Motorcycle Jacket

    River Road Laughlin Motorcycle Jacket

    Clyde in CO

    Great Jacket

I have not yet used the liner in this jacket but it has been great so far. I have worn it in 60 deg. weather without getting hot and down to 49 degrees without getting cold. When it hits 45 I think I may put the liner in. Since anyone who rides outside the city knows that more than temperature is important, I drive 30 miles each way to work from Sterling CO. to Peetz CO. so when I say 49 degrees, I mean at 75mph. I have a small windshield on my cruiser so that does help some. Overall I believe the jacket is good for colder temps than what I will ride in. This jacket also does not look like a motorcycle jacket so much which makes me less conspicuous when wearing it in stores and such.

Cannot use insulate liner without rain liner

Beware.. there is no way to zip in the insulated liner without the "waterproof" liner first.. in other words you CANNOT just use the insulated liner zipped in the jacket itself... HUGE let down
