I was surprised to see this kickstand still doesn't have a review. This Trail Tech stand is a machined work of art & well designed. It fits like OEM without all of the OEM kickstand flaws. It is machined from a solid billet stock & is strong. The pivot area is well designed with a steel insert for increased durability. The kickstand is installed with a series of different thickness washers at the pivot. This provides a way to get the pivot region nice & tight. NO SLOP! The OEM stand is famous for this sloppy pivot joint. The price of the stand is also spot on. Very reasonable for the quality Trail Tech kickstand your getting. Another fine Trail Tech product!!!Read All Reviews

Just installed this on my 2011 KLR 650 and I must say it is the best center stand I have ever installed, took about 15min. After installation putting the bike up on the center stand is very easy no need for an extra handle just grab the rear plate while stepping on the foot bar and give it a light tug and that's all it takes. The fit is also superb and it does not sag.Read All Reviews

My old kickstand was completely worn out and "floppy." Tusk offers a cheap alternative to OEM, and this fit great. The kickstand does ship with a new bushing. The OEM bushing has 2 rubber o-rings, but the Tusk bushing only has 1. Luckily I ordered both o-rings with my order, but only needed the larger OEM o-ring (0770180020). Without the o-ring, the Tusk had some flop, but no flop with the o-ring. I suppose you could try and re-use the o-rings from the removed bushing, but mine was wasted. Everything is smooth and tight now. Thanks.Read All Reviews

installed on a 2012 klr650 with sw motech crash bars and ims foot pegs. its a pain in the butt to get it to mount easily on your own and you will need longer bolts than are included given they have to pass through the center stand brackets, foot peg brackets, and crashbars! also the spring included doesn't keep a lot of tension on the stand- it can move around a bit while riding sometimes.Read All Reviews

fairly easy/quick install and is plenty strong enough to place my 240# on the left peg while mounting BUT, instructions are wrong stating you can use existing hardware. I had to go to my local Ace hardware to purchase a 1/2" longer bolt! You will need Vise-Grips or a spring puller in addition to the wrenches, and Torx fasteners.Read All Reviews
