If there is one item of riding gear you never want to leave the house without, it is definitely your helmet. Women’s helmets have changed a lot over the years – for the better. Not only are they more stylish, they are lighter, stronger and designed to exceed the standards set to keep you safe as you ride.
You’ve heard the concept of wearing a good quality helmet that meets DOT standards preached time and time again, but have you ever wondered why a helmet that meets or exceeds these standards is so important? Basically, the ratings all boil down to how well a helmet performs during a rigid set of testing procedures, including those focused on:
Helmets come in a variety of shapes and styles for many different kinds of activities – but not all helmets are created equal. Helmets that are specifically formulated for motocross riding have been designed to meet the challenges you might face on the track or trail. They have been tested accordingly to make sure that when it comes down to the wire, the helmet will perform well under pressure. DOT approved helmets have met at least the minimum testing requirements made by the US government in each safety test. Additional non-profit organizations such as Snell have also complied a separate set of rigorous tests to assess the overall integrity of a helmet and how it performs when you need protection the most. When you wear a helmet that has been certified by these organizations, you can feel confident that you have made a step in the right choice for your safety.

Got a few of these to get our air pumpers going, and really liked these.... I've got a big head, but normally an XL helmet, so that's what I ordered. It came very tight in the cheeks, but a $20 cheek pad purchase (30mm instead of the 40mm they come with) made a huge difference and it's perfect now. My wife has a small head and sized out with a small on the size charts, but they were out of smalls, so we ordered her a medium and it fits perfect. Doing it again, I would get the size larger than what you think you need. They are expensive helmets, but my last few MX helmets were $500+, so to me it wasn't that bad, but I needed 4 of these for a 4 seat side-by-side, so it's adding up. The helmet kits for Rugged Radios aren't cheap either and add a lot of cost per helmet to get those in.Read All Reviews

I ordered this helmet because it was on a closeout special and I really liked the look of it. I wear an XL helmet but figured I'd get a new one since mine is two years old already. Before making the purchase, I went to a local motorcycle dealer and tried on a few helmets just for their fit and to see the prices. The helmets I tried on were my usual size (XL) but I didn't see any that were in the same price range as RMATVMC has. When my helmet arrived, I could see immediately that it looked small. I made one attempt to put it on my head and there was no way it was going to fit. I checked the tag on the helmet, the box and the shipping invoice to make sure they didn't send me a youth helmet by mistake. Nope, it was an Adult XL. When I contacted RMATVMC, the representative was extremely polite, understanding and helpful. She sent me a packing slip to return the helmet.Read All Reviews

I bought this helmet on a whim, so glad I did. Awesome fit and comfortable. The helmet is also very light. I have been a Shoei and Arai guy, this is my first Bell helmet.Read All Reviews
