ATV Nerf Bars

In the protection department, there are few parts you can add to your ATV that are better than nerf bars. They will protect your feet in the event that they slide off the foot pegs. This is particularly important in high impact landings. They also protect against brush-ups with other quads, acting as a sort of side bumper. One thing is for sure – nerf bars are an important piece of equipment if you want to be safer while riding.

Fortunately, there are plenty of options that offer safety combined with style. At Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, we’ve selected a number of popular nerf bar options that also incorporate another aspect our customers appreciate: great value. If that wasn’t enough, we’ve also hunted down a few great heel guards too. In some cases, there are even options of combos of the two. With safety, style and value in mind, we proudly present nerf bars and heel guards from these respected brands:

  • Pro Armor
  • Motorsports Products
  • DG
  • Tusk

In most cases, multiple options are available from each manufacturer.

Of course, these nerf bars are specific to your type of machine. Do you have a Banshee 350? A Raptor 700? A TRX450R? A 400EX? Regardless of what your machine is, it’s easy to identify which nerf bars are matched to it. Just enter your quad’s details above. That’s it!

If you’re looking for ATV nerf bars, there isn’t a better place than Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. Make safety a priority and pick up a set today.

    Looks killer

Installed these on my 07 raptor 700R. The right side was off a little in the front so I had to use a ratchet strap to get it close enough to the frame to get the bolt started. The left side fit perfect though. The foot pegs have nice knobby grips on them and they look amazing.

Good bars, install is a pain

The overall quality is excellent. They are very solid and should do their job well. My biggest complaint is the manufacturing quality control. I bought 2 sets of these, one polished and one black. The polished set came with 1 correct replacement bolt for the lower a-arm and one that was 1/4" too short. This made the install frustrating until I figured out the problem by accident. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying the correct one. The biggest issue is the installation instructions and the actual bars do not match up. When you mount the bars to the peg mounts, the instructions show the bolt going from front to back in the middle and the bars are drilled that way. The problem is the peg mounts are not drilled that way. They are drilled top to bottom near the base of the mount. The bolts will not fit that way due to the foot peg insert. I had to drill the correct front to back how on all 4 of the peg mounts. This resulted in lots of swearing on the first install, but the lesson was learned on the second which went pretty easily. Instead of using the aluminum fasteners for the webbing, I just used fat head rivets to attach the inner webbing right to existing holes in the frame of the atv's. Once past the installation, I am very happy with them. After a hard weekend of riding, I really like them. The overall quality is excellent. They are very solid and should do their job well.
