Sportbike Tires from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

Whether you’re on the track, commuting to work or cruising the drag, your sportbike tires need to be ready for anything. Today’s tires look better than ever, exhibiting a sleek, refined appearance. The tread pattern is designed to convey an elegant – yet focused – approach. From the extravagant to the classical, there’s a tire for every style of rider.

Of course, while no one can deny the visual appeal of today’s sportbike tires, everyone knows that’s only half the story. The real value in a tire lies not in its looks, but in its performance. Does it give you the necessary traction to accelerate and stop at an elite level? Does it deliver enhanced cornering ability to carve sharper corners? These tires are all about providing the handling that you expect from a sportbike. And quite frankly, without the right tires, what’s the point?

We carry the brands you’d expect to see – names which are renowned for their high quality tires. Here are just a few of our most popular options:

• Dunlop
• Michelin
Bridgestone
• Pirelli
• Shinko
• Continental

Whether you need to be on the cutting edge of race tire technology or just want to outfit an older bike with traditional (yet reliable) tires, you’ll find what you need for your sportbike here. Perfect rear tire!

I've been running PR2's for many thousands of miles. While I have switched to a PP3 up front, the PR2 rear gives an excellent combination of wear and grip, evendors in the wet. For the price you will not find a better rear for SPORT touring.

    Excellent Sport Touring Tire, Colorado

I do a lot of commuting, local riding and sport touring on my Ninja 650R. My wife and I actually only have one car here in Denver, we both ride. My bike has 80,000 miles, 75k of which I've put on myself, so I've gone through a lot of different tires. I've put 7k so far on the T30s and they are what you expect out of a sport touring tire: long lasting (should outlast my last tires, the BT023 and Shinko Raven), good wet control (not as good as the PR3/4, but that's ok), grippy enough in the twisties to get yourself into some ear grinning trouble (but it's no track tire), very balanced when fully loaded both on interstate and 2 lane state roads. Here's where the T30 out shines every other sport touring tire I've tried: rough/grooved pavement! No joke, not sure what the other Colorado reviewer was talking about. I'd suggest he bump up his tire pressure. I ride through NASTY construction twice a day for work, returning at night. There is no additional lighting, the lanes are the minimum width, very twisty, the road is in miserable torn up condition and cars FLY through there doing atleast 55mph. The T30s are still motorcycle tires, it's not like driving a car through there, but they are incredibly stable. Add bonus? They keep their pressure well. I run 36F/38R local riding and bump it up to 38F/40R for heavy touring.

    Great tires!

These tires are very very good! They grip extremely well, feel excellent hard on the brakes, corner entry is really confidence inspiring and they hold the line thru the corner! Excellent side grip and great drive off the corners. The softer sidewalls make the ride a little nicer getting to the mountains where you don't feel every little crack in the pavement but still feel great in the corners. No squirming at all thru the curves even when pushed really hard. I bought another set already!
