Motorcycle Chains

Without a motorcycle chain, how can you ride? You can’t! Chains are an important component of the drive system.

Over time, every chain will progressively stretch. This isn’t an indication of low quality materials, nor is it caused by the individual pieces stretching. Motorcycles require chains to move at high velocities under great loads and heat, and this wears out each link where it connects to the next. Over time, the grooves created by the links make the entire chain slightly longer. While you can use a chain tool to remove a link or two, eventually the chain must be replaced.

We have 520, 525, 530 motorcycle chains and many more. Some are standard chains, but we also have O-ring and X-ring styles as well, and these are particularly good if you dislike the regular maintenance that chains require.

Since chains are so essential, it’s important to only use chains from brands you trust to deliver exceptional performance. We understand this, and that’s why we’ve chosen to carry some of the leading brands in the industry. Here are just a few of the names we stock:

  • DID
  • EK
  • RK
  • MSR
  • Renthal
  • Primary Drive
  • Diamond
  • Pro-Taper

With so many options, you’re sure to find the right chain for your motorcycle. Some are made of gold. Others utilize experimental technology such as XW-rings. Some are designed specifically for high performance racing. Regardless of your preference, you’ll find it here. Go ahead and browse our selection to find out for yourself.

Lasts for the entire riding season

I'm a dual sport rider and put on between 1500 - 2000 miles/year of all dirt, two track, and single track riding. The chain and sprockets last an entire season without any issue. Chain stretches very little and sprockets wear well. Front sprocket is the first the show wear, but I change the whole assembly for the cost. The only issue that I have is that they typically send a chain that is a couple links longer than I need. I have a chain breaker so not a big deal. I believe they have the 120 listed when I need a 118.

Chain is good qaulity. As expected from Renthal. Easy to work with, comes pre-lubed. Will buy again. Have about 12 hours on it, no wear as of yet to be seen. Have not had to adjust the chain other than the initial adjustment when I first put it on,
