Motorcycle Chains

Without a motorcycle chain, how can you ride? You can’t! Chains are an important component of the drive system.

Over time, every chain will progressively stretch. This isn’t an indication of low quality materials, nor is it caused by the individual pieces stretching. Motorcycles require chains to move at high velocities under great loads and heat, and this wears out each link where it connects to the next. Over time, the grooves created by the links make the entire chain slightly longer. While you can use a chain tool to remove a link or two, eventually the chain must be replaced.

We have 520, 525, 530 motorcycle chains and many more. Some are standard chains, but we also have O-ring and X-ring styles as well, and these are particularly good if you dislike the regular maintenance that chains require.

Since chains are so essential, it’s important to only use chains from brands you trust to deliver exceptional performance. We understand this, and that’s why we’ve chosen to carry some of the leading brands in the industry. Here are just a few of the names we stock:

  • DID
  • EK
  • RK
  • MSR
  • Renthal
  • Primary Drive
  • Diamond
  • Pro-Taper

With so many options, you’re sure to find the right chain for your motorcycle. Some are made of gold. Others utilize experimental technology such as XW-rings. Some are designed specifically for high performance racing. Regardless of your preference, you’ll find it here. Go ahead and browse our selection to find out for yourself.

Great for small bore mx bike

Very light, free turning chain. Great for a 125 mx bike because it doesn’t steal any of your power. Doesn’t last as long as a o-ring chain. Adjust after your first ride then try not to touch it again if you want it to last.

    DID chain

Race mini quads with high performance engines. The 428 VX X chain more than holds up under the pressure and abuse these little quads dish out. No chain problems since switching grips the sprockets tight.

You can pay more, but why?

I just put this on so I am not sure how durable it is, but I flogged the bike around Hungry Valley, Ca for a 5 hours and it looks good. It sagged as a new chain does after a first flogging....I suspect it will hold up. We will see.
