Whether on the track or trail, don’t go unprotected. ATV chest protectors not only protect from roost thrown up by other machines, they can also save you from the pain of that unexpected branch around the corner or that fall you didn’t plan on.
Fortunately, there are plenty of options. Many chest protectors are designed to fit over your jersey, and they are built to look great as well as offer the fortification you need. But not all of them are designed this way, so if you don’t like the idea of obstructing your jersey, don’t sweat it. We also have roost deflectors that can fit underneath your jersey.
Today’s technology enables chest protectors the ability to offer an exceptional level of protection without restricting movement or otherwise making you feel uncomfortable. We’ve got the top brands that are known for quality, including Leatt, EVS, Fox Racing, Thor and many others. Take a look to see for yourself.

I debated long and hard over what kind of armor to buy. I settled on Thor for it's looks, price and protection. I used it, literally on my first ride, taking a tumble. Got up and thought, I didn't even feel that! The only thing that is not protected is your underarm rib area. I unfortunately fell sideways onto a tree stump with my arm up. Yes, a whack right to the ribs. Made me think about RM reviews of one of the brands that had protection here.Read All Reviews

Hands down the lightest and coolest body armor I have purchased to date and I have a butt load of them. I live in FL and race hare scrambles, recently I gave up on my wearing my Leatt 5.5 (which I love in the winter) as its too hot to wear in the warming months for me.Read All Reviews

Jacket protected well. I ha a three spills w no damage. Venting worked great while moving otherwise a little warm. Having the zipper in the front mitigates that problem. I’m not giving 5 stars for three reasons. The plastic shoulder pads are very narrow, no flank protection and the sizing is much to small. I bought a 2XL because I was warned by the other reviews. I’m 6.3 and 215 pounds with 33 waist. You should consider one to two sizes up.Read All Reviews

I did a lot of research before settling on the 4.5 and I can say it does not disappoint. Leatt made this an easily adjustable piece of armor and it fits under a jersey with no problems. It offers really great protection for the price, I have only taken one decent strike so far but it definitely stopped some damage. After some more use I will update the review.Read All Reviews
