Whether on the track or trail, don’t go unprotected. ATV chest protectors not only protect from roost thrown up by other machines, they can also save you from the pain of that unexpected branch around the corner or that fall you didn’t plan on.
Fortunately, there are plenty of options. Many chest protectors are designed to fit over your jersey, and they are built to look great as well as offer the fortification you need. But not all of them are designed this way, so if you don’t like the idea of obstructing your jersey, don’t sweat it. We also have roost deflectors that can fit underneath your jersey.
Today’s technology enables chest protectors the ability to offer an exceptional level of protection without restricting movement or otherwise making you feel uncomfortable. We’ve got the top brands that are known for quality, including Leatt, EVS, Fox Racing, Thor and many others. Take a look to see for yourself.

I have worn this for a few months now, when you first put it on it feels like it will be annoying but when I am riding I don't notice being on or restrictive. This weekend I came up short on a triple and had a hard crash. I am almost certain if I had not been wearing this my right shoulder would be destroyed. The hard armour took all the abuse and the way it cups your shoulder it distributed the impact well. It did tear my slave on it a bit but it also tore the Jersey sleave I am going to try to fix it but if not worth the $150. I am 5' 9" 180lbs and wear a large.Read All Reviews

Did research on all different guards. This one seemed to be what I wanted .I'm 6'1 @ 200. Actually a bit too wide, kind of flat,Doesn't curve around or fit well .Wasn't a good fit with Atlas neck brace. Probally more protection than I needed. Returning and doing more homework.Read All Reviews

Very nice comfortable and cool as long as you're moving. The zipper is not much quality. Had problems from the start trying to get it to start and zip. Fox could do a better job and hopefully they will on this. Would I buy it again most definitely.Read All Reviews

Purchased because it seemed to offer a high level of protection and also covered the lower ribs (which is rare). Unfortunately like most of my other Leatt purchases the construction and quality is sub-par, especially considering the price. The mesh fabric of which all the armor is loosely sewn to rips very easily. Mine ripped in several places just from putting it in/taking it off. If you wear this without a jersey it’ll likely get snag and something quickly and rip extensively. The zipper is awkward and too tight putting undo strain on the already weak stitching in the area when zipping up. Finally, as mentioned before, the stitching attaching the armor to the mesh is as weak/weaker than the fabric it attaches to. My left shoulder pad completely ripped off and now must be affixed with zip-ties. Maybe a seamstress can fix this but most likely they’ll turn the job away as there’s no suitable fabric to attach to.
