Whether on the track or trail, don’t go unprotected. ATV chest protectors not only protect from roost thrown up by other machines, they can also save you from the pain of that unexpected branch around the corner or that fall you didn’t plan on.
Fortunately, there are plenty of options. Many chest protectors are designed to fit over your jersey, and they are built to look great as well as offer the fortification you need. But not all of them are designed this way, so if you don’t like the idea of obstructing your jersey, don’t sweat it. We also have roost deflectors that can fit underneath your jersey.
Today’s technology enables chest protectors the ability to offer an exceptional level of protection without restricting movement or otherwise making you feel uncomfortable. We’ve got the top brands that are known for quality, including Leatt, EVS, Fox Racing, Thor and many others. Take a look to see for yourself.

My first one lasted for at least 4 years and took some serious abuse. Comfortable, very breathable, and light weight. The spine protector breaths very well when wearing a backpack. It is nice to have all your upper pads together in one place so you are not looking for that always missing elbow pad. The most key feature of this jersey is the solid chest plate. A solid chest plate offers much more impact protection than one that zips up the middle. Would like to see kidney pads built into the waist belt though. However this jersey is tough and gets the job done for years of good use. 5 foot 9 160lbs sm/med is the size.Read All Reviews

The velcro and zipper system leave a lot to be desired. The zipper is right down the middle of the armor and the velcro is starting to fade and not stick. The shoulder armor attaches to the main chest armor with straps and pin and triangle connectors. the Pin is always popping out of the triangle. I've given up on trying to keep it in there. The protection is pretty good and I wear it under an adventure jacket for dual sport or adventure rides.Read All Reviews

It's very comfortable when it's on but for slow technical riding it gets hot quick in the summer. I have a jersey and Camelbak on top and had to switch back to my Fox air frame roost guard so I think I need to look at the Leatt adventure chest protector for the summer months when doing single track. Over all I'm happy with it.Read All Reviews
