Riding a motorcycle is inherently dangerous because you are personally exposed in the event of an accident. That’s why it’s important to get the right gear for the occasion. Armor and protective gear can keep you safe in an unfortunate incident.
We’ve carefully selected a number of great choices for motorcycle armor and related gear. While you should always choose to wear standard protective equipment such as a helmet along with a jacket and riding pants (or even a complete race suit) that include extra protection, it’s often a good idea to augment your existing setup with specific armor. What exactly are we talking about? Just take a look at the types of gear we have on this page:
Aside from motorcycle armor, we also have a number of braces. While they may not provide as much impact protection, they can add extra support to joints such as knees, elbows, ankles, wrists, etc. In a collision, braces may keep your joints from overextending or improperly bending.
Play it safe when you’re on your motorcycle. Pick up some of the protective gear and armor you see here. Hopefully you’ll never need it. But if you do, you’ll be very glad you have it.

After landing on a rock with my elbow during a high-speed fall, I knew I needed some elbow protection. I reviewed every elbow guard on the market, and finally decided on these. They were a little pricey, but worth every penny. I haven't ridden in hot weather with them, but I don't feel like they will be uncomfortable, based on the riding I have done. They are very soft and flexible, not your typical plastic shell type guards. They form well to your arm and elbow, and move comfortably with you as you ride. No issues with sliding down my arm, and they are not overly tight. I won't ride without them again.Read All Reviews

Bought this product after my wrist mountain biking. needed surgery and hardware to repair it. After rehab I attempted to ride however the vibration and pressure was too much to bare. After rideing with the brace it’s like night and day. I could not be happierRead All Reviews

I've always had cheap Thor kneepads my whole life. After going through my last pair I decided to tray something a little nicer and more comfortable. I ordered these and Rocky Mountain had them to my door the next day. Got to test them out yesterday. Very well pleased. Fit inside the boot great (something Thor kneepads never do). Did 74 miles and couldn't even feel them at the end of the day. They breath excellent and I love the straps. However I can't attest to their protection, as there is no hard plastic in the knee area. Just soft padding on the front and some on the sides Once I have my first spill I'll update on how well they protect.Read All Reviews

Best money spent, they are a bit pricey for what they feel like. I wasn’t impressed when I took them out of the box because they felt flymsy but... when I put them on and did around 4 hours of riding and took them off the worked great. Didn’t get any fatigue like I used to get around my knees and thighs from my old braces and wasn’t dying to get them off like my old ones. Hopefully I never have an accident but I know they felt great while riding and they secured my knees during the ride great.Read All Reviews
