Fortunately I haven't gone down yet with these on, so I can't really rate that. However, the material is much heavier duty than regular jeans. You feel a lot more protected just from that fact. That heavier feel does not come at the cost of comfort. These pants are very comfortable, on and off the bike. And they look good also. The material also cuts the wind very well and keeps your legs warmer in cooler temps. I found the waist sizing to be accurate for me. They fit me the same as a pair of Levi's would in the same waist size. The length runs a bit longer, which is good. With boots on, the length is perfect. Also you may need to pull the knees up a bit to align the armor pockets on the knee while sitting. So no need to hem the length.Read All Reviews

The fit is tapered similar to a slim cut jean. The legs are long but perfect for when you are in the riding position. The mechanical stretch feature is excellent and swinging my leg over any size bike is easy. It also allows for a comfortable ride even on long journeys and a bit of stretch for after you eat a burger. They are jeans and not water proof but I have been caught in the rain and found that it takes a bit longer than a standard jean before the water soaks through. The knee padding is thin and doesn't inhibit you from getting into and removing the pants. The zipper works well and the buttons are coated to help reduce the chance of a scratching your paint. The pants vent much better than expected for how thick they are, however when I get off the bike in any high heat they are warm. The pants are really easy and comfortable to wear, and I wear them more than any of my other riding pants.Read All Reviews
