For example, you can’t go wrong with a “Fatty” or “Gnarly” pipe from FMF, and if you ride a Banshee, you’ve almost definitely heard good things about the Toomey T-5. I bought this foir my 2014 300XC I swore by the Gnarly but wanted more over rev. This SXS pipe is better has low end power and plenty of over rev in the mid and on top Feels like a FAtty pipe but with bottom end power and in the tight single track power delivery is real smooth linear as my Gnarly was too much arm yank and spinning my rear tire I love this pipeRead All Reviews

I've got 35 hours on this pipe and can compare it to the OEM, FMF Fatty, & the FMF Gnarly which I have at least equal amounts of time on all. This factory pipe is the best of them all for my needs. It's the smoothest of all, being less peaky than the OEM & less belligerently snappy than the Gnarly and has no top end loss to boot. Like a Fatty but with much more durable/thicker material making up the outer walls of the expansion chamber. If a truck runs over my bike and smashes this pipe I'd have another on the way with expedited delivery.Read All Reviews

I purchased the SST and had fatty before. I loved the SST because it didn't hit hard on bottom end so I ride on the higher end of the powerband so faster and smoother. Pipes that hit hard on bottom for me I tend to get off balance a little and not as smooth. If you are b rider or above the SST works well as you probably stay on the top end.Read All Reviews
