ATV Gas Tanks

Has your ATV’s fuel tank seen better days? Is it broken? Do you just need a tank with a larger fuel capacity? Are you restoring an old ATV with a tank that has been ruined by gas that was never drained out? Don’t worry; you’ll find the solution to any of these problems in a new ATV gas tank from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.

We’ve chosen to carry two brands that are renowned in the powersports industry as manufacturers of quality aftermarket fuel tanks. These two names are Clarke and IMS. Each has painstakingly developed ATV fuel tanks that have a larger capacity than stock and are designed to uniquely fit each quad. (Make sure to utilize our Parts Finder to ensure you find a tank that fits your machine properly.)

A new fuel tank will look great on your ATV, but that aspect is only secondary to being able to confidently return to the trails with a fresh tank. There’s nothing quite as nice as new equipment to replace something that isn’t quite up to par. As an ATV rider, you want to be able to get as many quality hours of riding as you can, and a new tank will help you do that. Browse our selection now.

    Lousy Design

Maybe Acerbis has something against KTM, but from all of the good reviews I expected a lot more from this tank. The radiator shroud mounting holes do not line up with the holes in the stock plastic so you have to elongate the holes. The tank is so wide at the front that the radiator shrouds no longer contact the radiators as they were designed to do and makes the bike look like crap from the front. The handlebars hit the tank on the left and limit the turning radius on the left. Quality control and design seem to be very poor at Acerbis, but I should have realized this after my experience with one of their plastic kits. I am very disappointed with this tank and would have returned it if I had not needed the extra fuel capacity on a ride the day after I received it.

Kinda sucks that you have to buy an acerbis gas cap with the tank and you cant use your stock one. That is my only complaint otherwise it fit on the acerbis tank well.

Bought this for my 2004 Cr250R IMS gas tank. I did not fit at all, but the product is well made. For IMS gas tanks for Honda, I do not recommend this...
