ATV Sprockets

Whether you just need to replace a worn out sprocket, or you are looking to re-gear your machine, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has a wide variety of front and rear ATV sprockets to help you get the job done.

When you are looking to make a change in the acceleration or speed of your machine, changing the teeth on your sprockets can make all the difference. If you are looking for:

  • Better Acceleration – Subtract teeth from the front sprocket, or add teeth to the rear sprocket, as this will gear your bike down.
  • Faster Top Speed – Add teeth to the front sprocket, or subtract teeth from the rear sprocket, as this will gear your bike up.

When you do change the teeth of your sprocket, make sure you run the appropriate size chain. If you:

  • Add one or two teeth to the front or rear sprocket, then add two links to the stock chain length.
  • Subtract one tooth from the front or rear sprocket, then use the stock chain length.
  • Add two or more teeth to the front or rear sprocket, then add two links for every two teeth added.
  • Subtract two or more teeth from the front or rear sprocket, then subtract two links for every two teeth subtracted.

We have a huge variety of high quality sprockets from brands like Renthal, Primary Drive, Pro X, Supersprox, Talon and more. Check them out today!

    It works

Good sprocket, wears well, and fitment was perfect. I went a tooth smaller for my Honda to get more low end, lost to much top end. If you are thinking of doing the same I would say go up 1 or 2 in the back instead.

At this point, just like the front sprocket and new Primary Drive chain, all I have done is to install the sprockets and chain. Everything came as ordered and fit nicely on the bike. How it holds up to use over time will determine its durability, performance, and real value.
