  • Michelin AC10 Dual Sport Tire

    Paul in PA

    Great tire!

Best dual sport tire for my type of riding, lot of rocks, roots, forest roads, rarely on tarmac. Long lasting, I pair them with Bridgestone UHD tubes, 10-15 psi depending on conditions. I have tried other "tires of the month" but always go back to AC10s, reliable performance and value.

  • Pirelli MT21 Rallycross Dual Sport Rear Motorcycle Tire

Pirelli MT21 RallyCross Tires Are a Great Match for...

With a little less than 1000 miles on my Pirelli MT21s (front and rear), I couldn't be happier with their performance both on- and off-road on my DR-Z400S dual sport. The off-road traction (hard-packed rocked roads, dual-track trails, turf) seems great, and the traction on pavement (dry or wet) has been reliably solid. Sure, you can feel the knobbies when rolling on pavement (upright and in turns), but that's to be expected. Although this set has low miles, the wear and tear seem reasonable with no chunking. And yes, the wheels are balanced.

  • Dunlop D606 Dual Sport Tire

    Nathan in TX

    D606 rear on CRF250L Rally

Used for 900 miles on my 2018 Honda CRF250RL so far, about 50\50 offroad\onroad. They've seen blacktop, packed rock, loose rock, gravel, silt, sand, large rocks, rain, and mud as deep as the rear axle. At 19psi the tire does well on blacktop but is bouncing and not hooking up when on dirt or rock of any kind. At 16psi it did well on gravel/dirt roads (25-40mph) and packed rocks but still bounced and bucked when on loose rock or large rocks. Also managed to claw its way out of the axle-deep mud once I got off the pegs and let it chew along without my added weight. This is definitely an offroad tire, as you should already know by Dunlop's claims. It works on the road - never had any sliding even when exceeding the speed limit in rain on blacktop hairpins like an idiot. The only times it did feel squirrelly was in deep silt/sand; even in loose rock on very steep trails it just kept driving forward. Obviously you need to lean back a bit to help it dig in, but it did great.

Good traction. Tire size runs small. Good tire for the money but was too small for my bike.
