The Road 5 GT tires are amazing. I received the tire 45 hours after ordering it. I has great traction, and I think it should last at least twice as long as the original Bridgestone. It has 8mm of tread depth, compared to 4.8mm. On my previous bike, a Honda CBR954RR, I got 20,000 miles on the last Road 4 front, and three Road 4 rear tires got 10,000 miles each. The new bike is a Kawasaki ZX14R. It does weigh 160 lbs more, and has a LOT more power, which could make the tires wear faster. I already have 4700 miles on the Road 5 GT rear, and it has more tread left than the original Bridgestone had new, and I only got 4330 miles on that tire. I have not ridden in the rain with this bike, but on the 954 there was enough wet traction to do wheelies, in heavy rain. I think the Michelin Road 5 tires are the best tires you can put on your motorcycle if you are performance oriented.Read All Reviews
