    Awesome single track tire
This one so far is one of my favorite tires for AZ single track. It wears good. Tall knobbies. Works well in sand and rocks. Have about 100 or so miles on it. Not as cheap as some other tires but I feel it is better but not huge difference. Soft sidewall but using bib mousse. Does great.

    Traction, traction, TRACTION!!! Amazing!!!
Hi all. I wanted to post up my experience with this tire. A little background first:Here in Utah, we have a host of different terrain available to us year round. I currently have two rim/tire setups, one for desert and one for the high mountain single track. I'm running a Bridgestone X30F with a Shino 505R for the high mountain. I'm using the Maxxis Desert ITs for the desert and open terrain. I purchased an IRC V33S Gekkota Gummy for me recent trip to Moab (this past weekend) and was curious how it would fair. OMG, this tire is a Beast! It hooked up in everything! I use HD tubes and I ran the rear tire at 10-10.5 psi. We hit eight trails in three days (100 miles) and the IRC is looking Great! I'm sharing my thoughts in case those that are undecided on a rear tire and this IRC is on your radar, it will help your decision. I'm going to buy another before they are sold out again. Here are some pictures to show the wear. dislike about it.

Gekkota S, great for traction, bad for longevity
Amazing traction for hill climbs, rocks, even when wet. Wears really fast in hard pack, dry conditions. Switching to the VE33 for summer.

    Just Try It
This tire hooks up amazingly! The durability seems good, and it’s really easy to take this tire on and off the rim.

2 hours 10 min and 23.77 miles non stop on this irc ve33s for the donner hare scramble. You can see a slight rounding of the edge most likely from wheel spinning the loose corners into straight aways but very minimal wheel spinning in the rocks. This tire worked out exactly how I wanted it for this race, deep knobs for cutting the powdery silty woods and soft enough to keep solid traction in the rocks and slabs. You gotta admit, that’s one mean lookin knobby!

Awesome tire, great value, great hook up!
Used about 900 miles of nasty, rocky, roots, mud, singletrack in Colorado, 90% dirt, some paved sections. Held up way better than I thought. Good gummy compound, barely noticed any wear the first few rides. Used with Tubliss 6-8 psi. My friends used tubes, but they lost some center nobs. Cant explain that one. Will buy again. Still had plenty of tread when I took it off after 38.2 hours. Just started to have nobs crack as shown in pics.
Lot of treadlife left after 38.2 hrs of hard riding. about 90%dirt,some asphalt. All Colorado mi.
Some of the nobs were starting to crack. My friends had some nobs fall off. I can't explain.
After the ride...38.2hrs about 900 miles of Colorado singletrack, mud, rocks, roots, fire roads.

    Best all arounder
This tire IMO is the best all around tire money can buy. The gummy compound isnt so soft it gets trashed right away, but gummy enough to grab the slimy wet rock and roots. The stiff sidewall allows for good handling. The tall knobs dig really well in the loose loamy stuff. And this tire holds up amazingly well for a gummy tire. It doesnt have THE MOST bite in every case. There are some tires that chew through the loam and mud better, but they suck on rock and roots. There are some tires that do a bit better on the nasty rock and roots, but suck in mud or they just dont last at all. This tire does all of those things at an 8-9/10. Cant ask more than that. The only complaint is you cant consistently get them so you have to scour the internet to find one. And when its dead, who knows if youll find another. Thats frustrating.

    Ve33s the best Hybrid tire!!
The best all around preforming tire I’ve used. The VE33S is the Hybrid gummy tire in IRCs arsenal. Not too soft not too hard. Preforms great in fast and slow!! Has a harder carcass for the corners and the gummy compound for extreme situations! Unreal tire!!

What is the durometer of the nob and the sidewall? Manufacturer's should provide the basic information.
    Joshua P on Mar 13, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Sometimes you need to dig. At 70 degrees F it says durometer is 55. Soft sidewall. Talk knobby. Works really well in Arizona. Sand, rocks. Lasting longer than others I have tried. Shinko 525 was my favorite now this is. Just costs more.
Do they make this tire in a 100/100-18 ?
    A shopper on Dec 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we do not have this tire in that size.
    Is this tire DOT compliant?
    A shopper on Aug 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, these are not DOT compliant.
Will this tire get me through soft dirt? Trails here are very mixed with terrain
    brandon c on Aug 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Soft dirt should not be a problem. The product note states: Designed to perform in extreme conditions from sloppy dirt or sand to logs, roots, rocks, swamps, and sliding gravel surfaces.
