    Details

New from the ground up, the multi-purpose Mud Lite II's new tread design mixes specially designed lug patterns in strategic locations on the carcass to create sure-footed traction in the mud as well as stability and comfort on the trails.

To provide a smooth ride on the trail, ITP engineers designed Mud Lite II tires with a variable open-lug tread design to enhance traction over a variety of trail surfaces.

To minimize tire flex, increase support and reduce wear, the Mud Lite II tire has unique "tendons" that connect and stretch between the tire's lugs. The centerline dimpled, v-shaped lugs enhance traction on the trail while the lug height and positioning makes for an incredibly smooth ride on hard pack. The new multi-terrain Mud Lite II carries a robust 6-ply rating and the lug height varies from ¾-inch to 1 1/8-inch, depending on the size. The tire's shoulder also features an enhanced tread treatment for added sidewall protection and grip.

Dimpled center lugs and a re-engineered chevron pattern provide massive forward traction in the mud. This tread design improves bite and enhances the tire's self-cleaning capabilities. The tire's shoulder features an innovative mud breaker tread design, which sits slightly raised on the tire between the taller chevron lugs, to channel debris and reduce the dreaded horsepower-robbing suction drag in muddy terrain.
    • Redesigned tread pattern provides better traction, improves mud clean-out and maximizes ride comfort.
    • Improved shoulder protection, mud breaking lugs and stabilizing cords to reduce flex.
    • 6-ply rating

    Busco Beach Approved
Bought these before heading down to Busco Beach this past weekend. I was very impressed with these tires, as I had no issues with traction the entire weekend. Great tires!

    one tough tire
very puncture resistant and great traction. Trail riding I would give it a b for a grade. Looking forward to plowing with these tires on, think they will do good in the snow.

    Can’t beat ITP for quality
I haven’t had the opportunity to mount these yet but I have had ITP tires on other quads and have been more than happy with them. I haven’t come across another brand that can equal the grip of an ITP tire.

    Great Replacement
I hunt in South Texas in some really sticky mud. I have not had these tires out in that yet, but I have had them in some stuff that left guys with OEM tires in a big problem. I powered through. They also look great on my Sportsman 570

Absolutely love the tires. They hook up great run smooth and really dig through the mud. Even made the steering a little lighter (Honda Rincon 650 no power steering) so it was a huge improvement not sure about tread life yet

What is the lug depth on these sizes 27x11x14 and 27x9x14?
    Matt S on Dec 31, 2017
    I have 24x8-11 now. Can 25x8-12 work on a 2000 king quad 300?
    A shopper on Apr 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 25x8-12 would be a 1 inch taller tire which I am sure u have the room for if 24 is stock size, width would be the same, but u currently have an 11 inch rim and would need to buy 12 inch rims for them to work.
Guys who have owned them for a while how are they wearing?
    A shopper on Sep 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Seams ok , hard to be more exact I drive them on the pavement on way to sand dunes, Been 2 season now and still look good
Is this package front and back or just front?
    A shopper on Mar 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Just rear you have to specify if you want both front and rear but these are by far the best tires hands down
    Are these radial tires?
    A shopper on Jun 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, these are not radial tires, although they do ride pretty smooth for a 6 ply tire with special tendons in the sidewall for rigidity. I have them on a 2014 Honda Pioneer 700-4 UTV that I use to go deep into the Alaskan outback hunting moose. We cover a lot of different terrain from muddy swamps to talus rock slopes...they do a great job and I'd highly recommend them.
Do they ride smoother then the swamp lights do?
    A shopper on Jan 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Have no idea how the swamps lights ride but I can tell you the mud lites are awesome. Very good traction in the mountains here in Pa.
I have a 2013 stock ranger. What would be the largest tire that I can install without any modifications?
    A shopper on Jul 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I had 29s on mine with no mods some of the guys I hunt with have 30s on their rangers with no lift
What’s the biggest tire I can run on a 2017 Polaris sportsman 570 with 4+3 wheels?
    zack p on Feb 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Does your buggy have A Arm kit or Portals or is it stock?
Stock you can run a 27 tall ITP Mud Lite
A arms you can run 30" tall ITP Bogger very aggressive tire
A Arms and Portals 33" to 36" tall is no problem but need portals to rein the gear ration or it will be a dawg. Hope it helps we run a 4" lift on a arms with 30"s its awesome
Ive got the mudlite XLs on my brute force and was wanting to ask how the feel on hard pack and rocks? Are they smoother than what itp had before on a already great tire?
    A shopper on Oct 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I love the tires, have them on king quad 700. People complained about them on wet logs, i have zero issues on wet logs, aren't all wet logs slick? lol Where i ride is all rock and they ride nice. They are deff more aggressive than the original mud lite ats.
Are these tires true to size?
    A shopper on Nov 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No 28” tire @ 5 psi is only 26.6-27”. If it was on a narrow rim it might be.. This is very typical on ate-sxs tires
Do these actually weigh less than the other tires that are the same size or is that just a name ?
    A shopper on Mar 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No! I believe they are just using Mud Lite as a takeoff of the Bud Lite {Beer} advertisement scheme. I found them to be a great tire at a reasonable price. Been runing them now for 3 years and very happy with the performance in mud and snow. Buy all my ATV/Motorcycle parts and accessories from Rocky Mountain!!
Do they ride any smoother than the swamp lites do?
    Tyler w on Jan 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have never had swamp lites but I have had my share of mud tires and these are the smoothest riding mud tires I have ever had. I have drove them on the black top and they ride better than the dirt commanders that are my stock tires. It really surprised me I expected them to ride more like a tractor tire but not the case.
How much does each one weigh?
    A shopper on Oct 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I will be happy to check on this for you. Will you please let me know the size you're referring to?
I have 2005 attic cat 650 v2 I want to buy mud lite 2 what’s the best/biggest size you guys suggest? b4 haveing to do mods to lift and clutch. Just want new rims and tires no mods..

BEST ANSWER: The biggest size we would recommend for your machine on the front is 28x9-14, and on the rear is 28x11-14. You will need to buy a rim with a 14 inch diameter. Check out our tire and wheel package builder: https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/Tire-Wheel-Package-Builder
