    Details

Typically known for their off-road and enduro tires, the MotoZ Tractionator Adventure Tire is an on-road, DOT compliant front tire that’s made for adventure riders that split their time between asphalt and dirt. The front Tractionator Adventure Tire shares many of the same features as the rear. That includes a very durable carcass, specialized rubber compounds that increase tire life, and deep tread blocks that actually sharpen their own edges as the tire wears.

The result is a front tire that tracks well on both the street and off-road trails. Riders report the tire having very good manners on tarmac during longer road trips, and excellent traction off road—even on steep inclines, wet mud, and loose gravel—making the Motoz Tractionator Adventure one of the best adventure tires currently available.

      Specs:
    • Designed for serious off-road traction
    • Created by off road riders, for off road riders
    • 25% stronger than many other adventure tires
    • Deeper tread than most other adventure tires
    • Special compound designed to withstand the harshest conditions found in Australia, USA, Baja, South America, South Africa, Israel, Spain, Morocco, etc.
    • Tread is designed to self-protect for long mileage and superior off road cornering
    • Tube/Tubeless design
    • DOT compliant
    • Directional tread

Are otheers reviewing the same tire?
Excellent tire, provides incredible traction on soft/hard packed and rocky surfaces, as well as unexpected comfort and confidence for street riding. Have not applied to wet streets; wet trails soft gravel I am impressed. Happy that I put them on for a weekend of riding in the mountains. Will definitely be buying again! (Super Tenere)

Very Un-nerving on and off road
With about 600 miles on the front. I have come to the conclusion that this tire is not for me. On road, any grooved road will make you think the front end is going to fall off. I've driven on enough roads to just ride with it. This tire however "enhances" the movement. On plain roads, the front just feels loose. Almost that I think I need to re-build the front head unit. I've tried different air pressure, but no difference. Off road, I just don't feel confident on going on the same terrain that I would have not thought twice before. I wanted a tire with a thick side wall, but not sure if 4 ply is to much. I will keep using it until I decide it is too much work to just ride.
When you have to think of how you ride is when you are going to make mistakes. My previous front tire have been TKC80's and I never had to think about what the front was going to do.
Maybe it still needs to break in? That's a weird term that I've seen. When will that happen?

Bites in the Dirt-Buy for the Dirt
Yes it moves around on the pavement a little, especially concrete that has been grooved cut. Big long lasting knobbies. But no big deal for a dirt rider. I learned to ride on the dirt so having a tire that moves around like in sand you can easily get used to. More dirt oriented tire vs traditional ADV street oriented tire. Did a Baja & Colorado ride on them and totally happy. If doing more pavement I'd recommend Tractionator GPS

    Front Adventure sucks
This is a terrible tire. 2017 BMW 1200 GSA 6'3" 215 lbs. This front tire wanders like a drunk. Unstable at all speeds and speed wobbles above 60, very unnerving. Center knobs are chunking at the rear of each knob. Howls like a banshee, not as bad as Anakee wild. Hard to hold a line in corners or straights. Have tried lowering air pressure which helps but sets off tpms. Rear is awesome and grips like mad. Front just sucks. Will be trading for GPS or the new one.

    Whoa
These tires bite in the dirt and rocks, and grab the slab. The front turns in a bit weird, not scary but weird. I only have about 300 miles on them so far, and I haven't ridden in the rain yet, but I would have zero issues doing so. Buy a set and you won't regret it. KTM 640

    Wow awesome adventure tire
This tire is a major upgrade from the shinko 804 that I previously had. It handles all kinds of mud sand loose rock and bushwacking that I have thrown at it. I am very impressed by its ability to keep a line though slick conditions. As a road tire out is noisey but very confidence inspiring. This is a fantastic adventure tire.

    Speed wobble galore
This is the worst tire I have ever used for road. Grabs and tracks every grove and split in the road. Wobbles at highway speed over bumps and if you accelerate and try to make a pass. Have to let off throttle to regain control. Sidewall is over stiff and is extremely difficult to mount with tubes. Would not buy again or recommend. Off-road traction is good except for wet. Center lugs are to big and slide in wet. Same for rear. Need to be sipped like a winter car tire. I’m sure this would help in wet conditions. Would recommend if all you were doing were driving on gravel roads and dry not to loose off-road trails. Strongly not recommend front for any road. Rear does good on the road except wet. Large rear lugs need sipping

    Terrible tire!
I personally hate this tire! I ride a 2014 KTM 690, I have messed with the tire pressures and triple checked the balance since installation and nothing helps. It wobbles really bad at 65 mph, unless I drop the air pressure to about 20psi, if there is a crack in the road... hang on because it will grab funny a try to keep you in the crack. Offroad it has a mind of its own, even with a psi of 13 it wants to take you off the trail constantly. I've been riding most of my life and never had a tire act this way. Don't buy this (front) tire!

    tough tires.
    Front tire showing minimal wear.
Tracks well in most conditions (haven't ridden on sand yet).

May need to dial in the pressure to best suit your riding style.

Will this tier fit a 2017 CRF 250L rally?
    A shopper on Nov 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This tire is a 90/90-21 and is designed for a 2.15" rim. I would suggest another model in the 80/100-21 size.
