Decent price for the traction that i needed.
Im not a street racer by any means. I used this set on a 2006 Yamaha FZ6, wich was my first commuter street bike. I never set out to test the full capabilities of the tire, but for the 1500 miles that i put on them they worked just fine for my application.

    Great so far!
Today I took my new tire for a 245 mile loop through a lot of twisty Utah mountain roads. Though I did ride pretty hard, I'm sure I didn't push the tire to it's limit. I felt secure in the turns and didn't experience any slipping.I didn't ride through any wet terrain. I know it is early for a review, but this is what I have so far.

    Didn't get 3000 miles
Check out Michelin. Best handling and treadwear I've ever had. Been riding over 40 years.

    Not very sticky!
These tires are not very good at cornering. Two years ago we took a bike trip to the Rocky Mountains to carve some mountain and canyon roads. Whenever I would hit a curve hard I could feel my rear trying to slide out. When I passed someone on a wet road and went past the rumble strips in the center of the road my rpms spiked because I was spinning. They are very squirrelly tires and I don't recommend them. They're the worst tires I've ever used. I gave them a fair rating because they wear decent. I'm going with the Michelin Power Pilot 3s next.

    Steer clear
Steer clear from this tire if you expect a reasonable amount of grip. Bought these tires like above folks. When warm these are OK at best, never really inspired confidence and just a very bland feeling having these tires under you, very little feedback or sense of grip. Lasted about 3k on the rear. Front could last longer but I feel like it will start to cup in 1k miles or less. Spend the extra ca$h and get something other than this!

    Decreased wearability
I have run this tire on this motorcycle many times in the past, always got over 4k miles riding fairly agressively.

I just ran out of rubber after less than 3K miles on a trip, where the majority of the miles were riding in the rain - easy miles, should have been minimal wear.

I had to go find a stealer to overcharge me for a replacement so I could get home.

Very disappointed in this tire, think I'm done with Pirelli. Earlier this year, I wore an Angel GT out in less miles than I should have as well. It does seem that Pirellis mileage is going down.

    YMMV

Greasy on hot days, slippery in the wet
Because of a screaming deal, I bought 3 of these tires in 190/50ZR17 for my BMW K1200S. I do like the fronts, however.

On the local mountain, I found myself unexpectedly doing tail-out slides as the day warmed up (still double digits). Until then, wearing the peg feelers was easy to do on these.

In the wet, this tire breaks free relatively easily when on the gas. When it comes back it does so in fits and jerks rather than smoothly.

The Michelin Pilot Road and Metzeler Z6, in comparison, don't exhibit these behaviours and stick much better in the wet.

For most riding, including my 30 mile, highly exciting route to work, it's a decent tire.

For extended aggressive riding or wet weather riding, look for a different tire.
