Must have for woods riding
Bought this tire for the Silver Mtn Extreme eduro and it did not dissapoint, ran with 4 lbs in a tubliss setup. For being a gummy tire held up incredibly well considering the loose shale fields. For the price can't beat it. Doesn't do good in silt, but that's expected.

Grips good
This is a great tire for the woods in Wyoming. Compared to the cheater tire it does wear a little more quickly but handles lots better.

Using on a 2018 300xc tubless setup.

Not a tire for everyone but works well while it lasts.
Best tire I have ever used (for the first 30 miles). Tons of grip due to the soft compound. It is softer than the 505/525 cheater which is already a soft tire. Because of this, the tire does not last long. I like the cheater tire a lot, but this one is better in every way except that it wears out fast.
After it was already bald, I ended up pinching the tire between a rock and the rim rendering it useless and unrepairable. I use a tubliss system front and rear. This tire is perhaps too soft and fragile for tubliss.
If money is no object, buy these tires and replace them after every 3rd ride or so.

Is this 140 tire a true 140 width or is it slimmer?
A shopper on Apr 14, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It’s a little slim. But overall awsome tire. Just a little softer compound so it doesn’t last to long.
Is this the gummy tire?
Austin M on Feb 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes the SX is a gummy. The MX216 is kind of half way between a gummy compound and a normal compound.
