  When getting tubes i always get the thinnest i can find. Tubes and tires are a great place to save weight. Its unsprung and rotating mass. I always buy these kenda tubes, super thin and hold up great. I ride 90% mx and 10% desert but not rocky terrain. Maybe rocky terrain and running low pressures could use an hd tube but for me, these are a good quality tube that always lives up to my expectations.

  Mixed thoughts. I've had quite a few pinch flats with running low pressures. I also have a bent rear rim from something or another. That said, I still use them.
