  I purchased this to replace a cigarette-socket-style power point and am pleased with the results. Installation, in my case, used an existing switched circuit with a fuse so I cut the harness down. The supplied paperwork suggested not wiring into anything greater than 7.5 amps; it would be nice if they used slightly heavier gauge wire to support 10a installation.
