Front and rear combined are 3 pounds lighter than the same size Nitro Mousses. Had them all on the scale and its shocking how much lighter Michelin blue box mousses are. They also hold up better than the new Nitro Platinum mousses. My Nitros would shrink so much I was having to use their wedge or an old cut up mousse to take the space. Miserable adding wedges every tire change despite lather those things up in grease/lube. In short, Michelins dont feel that different, cost the same, are massively lighter and last longer. No brainer.Read All Reviews

I've been running these front and back for awhile and love the low pressure they allow--it's not stretch to say running the rear at 6 psi has improved my capabilities tremendously. But I never really had to confirm that you can run a flat with them because that never happened....until yesterday. I was in a forty mile hare and hound desert race and ten miles in my front went flat. Trail riding I carry a plug kit but I don't for racing (probably should). There were checkpoints where I could have DNF'd but I decided to go as long as it would take me, which ended up being completing the race. In many areas I was able to maintain near race pace, but downhills, corners and rocky sections were sketchy. Still, it delivered and made what could have been a bummer day into a good story.Read All Reviews
