I was really happy to have the Butler NVBDR paper map. No batteries to die, no confusion or apps to figure out. I utilized the 'distance to gas' so many times with the smallish tank on my 701. The elevation profiles where good for finding high camping areas to get out of the heat or to camp where we could find a river. the section descriptions were very informative and made good night time reading in preparation for the following days riding. Butler does an incredible job on all their BDR maps. Totally worth the money and worth the effort of pulling out a traditional map.

The Butler Maps are a great way to plan out a road trip. It's easy to find the kind of roads that bikers love, including scenery, twisties, and other elements that make up a fun ride. I like how it highlights the do-not-miss portions of the state.

Great map, I have the NMBDR and the COBDR maps as well. The quality is very good and the information is something you just don't get from a regular road atlas. If you ride motorcycles then get Butler maps.

I bought my first Butler Map last year at a local Chamber of Commerce building in the Texas Hill Country. I was so impressed with the attention to detail and quality, I ordered one from RM for my upcoming trip to Colorado.

I have used the Montana and Northern California map over the last 2 years. Some of the roads listed as yellow (the best) are beat to hell. Would be better on a dual sport for sure. The Lost Coast in CA was in very poor condition. That is just one example. There were many more yellow and red roads that were in bad shape. You need to check the road photos on Google Maps before you go. The map does not list road quality which can be a big problem. All that being said I am going to buy Idaho, UT, WY and Colorado and investigate the roads better before leading 6 other sport touring bikes on a rough, slow ride.
