    On KTM 250/300 2 strokes, this should help you.

    This unit will make even the hydraulic clutch of a KTM a little harder to pull. Feels more like a manual cable clutch. Won't matter much though due to you will seldom use the lever. Someone else mentioned looking for updates and registering your product before installing. This is very good advise. The directions in the box were completely different then the directions I found online at Rekluse.com. Directions in box made the clutch feel like it was dragging all the time just slightly. I then made the adjustments per the directions online and it worked much better. Stock (installed correctly) the Rekluse killed my ability to hillclimb technical hills. The bike wanted to lag and then the clutch would release at an awkward time causing the bike to wheelie. This was easily corrected. Realize there are many ways to make adjustments to how your Rekluse will perform. After a little research the adjustments I used were found at Slavens Racing.com. After that the Rekluse worked flawlessly for hillclimbing. Here is what I did. Replace red springs in EXP unit with all silver springs. The silver springs come with the unit, you just have to trade them out. This causes the clutch to fully engage sooner then the red springs. I also replaced the stock 250 PSI Belleville Clutch Spring Washer (on 2014 and newer) with a 280 PSI Belleville Clutch Spring Washer ($30) for the KTM. This also helps by giving the clutch a cleaner, crisper, quicker release. Stock the Rekluse gives the 2 stroke 300 the feel like engine braking that a 4 stroke has. The unit stays engaged down hill and when slowing down. I like this feel but if you don't simply order lighter wedges for the EXP unit and you can make it free wheel instead. I have issues with my brakes getting hot and failing on down hills. The Rekluse providing engine braking has helped me eliminate the heat issue of my brakes. Hope this review helps you 2 stroke 250/300 guys out here.

    Old clutch had virtually no wear but would drag, and clutch basket was in perfect shape, Put this new OEM clutch in and there is no drag what so ever. Awesome!
