  Haven't actually used it in the rain yet, but have used it for the exact purpose we bought it for. We used it on hot summer days at practices and mainly gate drops at races. It definitely helped to produce shade and block some wind. I researched and bought this one because of how big it is, and i'm glad we chose this one.
