    Great Jacket, Great Price

This jacket does everything that I want it to.. I bought it for the colder weather with intentions of leaving the water proof membrane and the thermal layer inside. I went out the other day in 44 degree weather on the dual sport and had zero complaints.

Pursang Jacket is great! Glad I got it!

I purchased the Pursng jacket along with the Phantom pants that match a couple of months ago. So far, I have used the jacket on two long rides - a one-day and a two-day, as well as a couple of shorter trips near the house. I love the jacket! The fit is perfect - I'm 6'2" and almost exactly 200 lbs. and I got the XL. I have enough room under it for a Rib Protector that I just purchased, and wish I had had on my last adventure. Note that I marked the jacket as "good" on protection, rather than excellent like everything else, because it has no rib protection, the back protection seems awfully thin, and the elbow pads don't seem to line up exactly right. Although the jacket provided excellent protection as I was going through brush with thorns, etc. and generally provided good protection as I took a number of falls at the BMW Performance Center Two-Day Off-Road course, I did suffer a severe rib injury due to the lack of rib protection. I would STRONGLY recommend having rib protection, regardless of which jacket you purchase. I have used the Pursang jacket in temperatures down to 41 degrees in cloudy and humid weather, and it kept me perfectly warm with the liners in and only a t-shirt underneath. In fact, in temperatures just a little higher, I took the liners out and with only a t-shirt was fine. If the neck fitting is a big deal for you, I will say that that that is the one place where there is not very much by way of adjustments, but I just snap the top part open and am fine. Everywhere else on the jacket, there are multiple adjustments. All of the zippers and snaps seem to work very well. And I like the design of the pockets -- they have a design that will help keep water, etc. out. I think the value of the jacket is outstanding and I highly recommend it!

    Very Happy with Phantom Pants

I purchased these pants a couple of months ago and have used them on two rides thus far -- the first was a one-day ride in the scenic areas around Las Vegas in January, and the second was the two-day off-road course at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina in February. I did not encounter any significant precipitation on either ride, so I don't know how well the rain-proofing is, but given the construction and performance I have experienced, I have every confidence that it will work flawlessly. PLEASE NOTE: That the pants do run small -- although the companion Pursang jacket seems to run true. I am 6'2" and right at 200 lbs. The XL was far too small, so I had to return them (which was hassle-free) and get the XXL. With the XXL, I can tighten them a little at the waist with the adjustment straps and they fit perfectly. So far, I have not ridden with either of the liners in. That is, I have just used the shell and been perfectly comfortable down to 41 degrees and cloudy/high humidity. I suspect with the linings you could ride to the Arctic if you were so inclined. I only gave a 3 on the "protection" because I am not 100% confident in the placement of the knee protection and the hip protection is pretty thin. Although, I will say that they provide great protection against thorns, etc. and I did come off the bike about 15 times at the BMW course, and the only injury suffered was to my chest, so they at least protected me well enough there to prevent injury. For the cost, I don't think you can beat these pants. I have taken them apart a couple of times and the zippers and snaps all seem to work well. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend them.

Just bought a sport bike so needed a street-suitable jacket. Great, light-weight jacket, with integrated armor. My only slight complaint is that there aren't any ventillation ports, but I guess with the mesh design, perhaps its not needed. Fit is dead-on and it looks great. Will have to see if I stay cool on the road, but so far, its a great jacket.

Just bought a sport bike so needed a street-suitable glove compared to my motocross gear. Great, light-weight glove, with integrated armor. My only slight complaint is that the glove runs big, at least compared with like-size motocross gloves. Will be a good addition to my sport bike gear.
