Dual Sport/Woods Riding Jacket

Comments On Mar 25, 2015:Bought this jacket for some of the colder weather we have in the Pacific NW. So far I have been very please. Being able to fold this jacket up into its own built in pocket has been awesome. Usually its chilli in the mornings so the jacket works well, then late AM the vents get opened up and by noon It gets rolled up and strapped to the bike. Good quality jacket.
Only down side for me is if I'm riding some single track and working the bike its a little warm even with all the vents open.
Dual sport/forest roads I've been very pleased.

Great all weater jacket

Comments On Feb 05, 2015:This is a very good jacket for UTV ATV riding and is a very good value. I am now wearing my second of these jackets and looking to purchase my third. I also have the Backcountry pants I am 6'3" and the pants are short for me.

Not for Taller riders

Comments On Dec 26, 2014:I am about 6'3" and 200 pounds. My gf ordered me a large and it was way too small. The chest just barely fit but the sleeves were way way too short. With my arms extended the sleeves rode almost up to my elbows. So she called rmatv and they sent out an xl. The sleeves are still too short but the chest is way to big, I am a big guy and I was floating in it. The size pattern is modeled off shorter men with big guts I guess. This jacket will not work for me. It appeared to be a quality jacket but the sizing is strange and I can't see it ever fitting a taller rider correctly. RMATV's costumer service has been top notch as always though.

excellent value for commuting

Comments On Dec 31, 2014:I have been riding in this jacket for a few weeks now. I found it to vent very well, and was comfortable in the Florida heat. However I just recently got the chance to test it in the rain, and found it lacking. In light to moderate rain 20 miles at highway speeds, the jacket leaks through at the armpits. For commuting duties where the trips are short the jacket is fine, but I will need to find another jacket for long distance travel.

Excellent for the price

Comments On Dec 12, 2014:The jacket is excellent for the price. It works well with my Leatte neck brace. Keeps me warm when the temps are below 40. I like the vent zippers as the temps can change in TX by 20 degrees between morning and afternoon. The jacket is made very rugged and seems like it will hold up to cross country riding very well.

Better Than Expected

Comments On Dec 04, 2014:Pretty good jacket. Warmer than I thought it would be. A little tight in the forearms because of my elbow guards. It's holding up well.

Good Product, Good Price

Comments On Dec 04, 2014:Had a small problem with zipper but RM took care of it. Love the vents and zip out sleeve feature. If you get to hot, stuff it in to the built in fanny pack.
