The SMH5 is the entry-level communicator in Sena’s line of products and while it doesn’t have nearly as many features as other Sena options, the SMH5 still has an excellent set of features that keep you connected and entertained as you ride.

Main features that make the SMH5 a solid unit include the one-to-one intercom that connects you and another Bluetooth unit (even non-Sena units) up to 400 meters apart, Bluetooth 3.0 so you can listen to music, talk on hands-free phone calls, or get GPS direction, and Advanced Noise Control™ tech so everything you do with the SMH5 maintains high quality inbound and outbound audio.

Like other Sena communicators, the SMH5 has a sleek, low profile integration when installed on your helmet with either of the two types of mic that’re included. And the jog wheel and large button interface make for easy usage on the road even with gloved hands.

So while the more expensive Sena headsets will provide more functionality, the SMH5 is a solid option for riders that don’t usually ride in groups but they still want to be connected to their devices and entertained by their music.
