    Best in the transmission department
Many people do not understand transmission oil especially for a 2 stroke. let me explain why this is your solution:

    1. MOST dirtbike transmissions are WET CLUTCHES meaning the clutch sits in the same oil as the rest of your transmission. you will need to find this out somehow. like i said most are.

    2. You 100% can run 10w 40 four stroke MOTOR OIL in your transmission. sounds strange but its totally ok.
the thing you need to be aware of is, IF IT SAYS IT IS, OR ISNT FOR A WET CLUTCH! some motor oils will say it right on the bottle, a good go to is ams oil full syn. 10w 40. usually readily available.

    3. THIS PRODUCT solves all your problems, yes it says 80w, but transmission oil is scaled differntly then motor oil and 80w is actually very very close to 10w40 in weight. this product works well, saves gears and clutches and is affordable and fairly easy to get ahold of.
AGAIN BE SURE TO CHECK IF FOR WET CLUTCHES OR NOT.

YES, this is ok to use in a rekluse auto clutch

Does this meet/exceed JASO MA or JASO-MA2 standards? I'm wanting to use this with my Rekluse auto clutch.
    Matthew L on Mar 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know for sure, but I've used this oil in my 2002 KX250 with a Rekluse for the last 3 years. It has worked flawlessly. I've had the Rekluse in for approximately 1500-2000 miles of technical trails and some sand.
Will this work for ktm 300 xcw?
    Maria M on Nov 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, It works on all ktm 2 stroke transmissions. We like the 80wt over the 75wt because we all race. It goes in all our transmissions 2006 250xc, 2011 250 sx, and 2012 250sx. Ktm 2 stroke transmissions wsually take around 24 oz if completely drained. We change it between 5-10 hrs of riding depending on who's riding. Good product.
    What color is this?
    A shopper on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Now I am officially colored blind but I’m looking at it now and it’s red’ish. Kinda looks like cherry NyQuil. Never have any transmission issues in my 2013 Husky WR300.
Would this work in my 1999 ysf 200 blaster atv?
    isael c on Nov 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If it is a 2-stroke....then it will have a wet clutch. (Clutch bathed in oil) Then this oil will work well. I have always used this transmission oil in my 2-stroke dirt bikes. Hope this helps.
    01 yz125 75 or 80w? Thank you
    Steven G on Mar 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have always used the Gear Saver 80W in 2016 YZ125 instead of 10W40. What does your service manual call for? 10W40 is similar to the viscosity of 80W gear oil, and 10W30 is similar to 75W gear oil.
Will this work in a 05 trx 450?
    A shopper on Sep 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This is recommended for 2 stroke transmission. I use in my YZ250.
