    Really good
I’ve been running this lever my entire race year and it’s worked really well for me. After awhile the plastic does seem to get more brittle seeing I broke one a few weeks ago but overall I like the product.

Next Components Smart Clutch & Brake Levers
This product works as advertised. I actually managed to break the clutch lever on a fall. The vendor for the lever responded very quickly & sent 2 new of the plastic levers.

    nice lever
I bought this because I read that it helps make the pull (cable clutch) a little easier. gets a little rough after riding single track for hours. this did make the pull a little easier and the lever is nice but my next step might be to try putting on a hydraulic clutch.

    garbage
This says that this bends and is unbreakable!1st time bike was laid over this broke. It is just plastic and does not bend. This sucks because i put these on all my bikes thinking i saves money.Spend 20$ more on a better clutch and brake handle.I would give this product a big fat zero

    Garbage
I only gave it 2 stars based on looks and feel. My issue with it was I literally laid the bike gently down so I could help a friend get his bike up a hill. When I picked the bike up which didn't have much weight on it most of the weight was on the bar end the lever broke in half.

Broke first time my son went down
Bought this for my son on his 250f he's broke a few stock ones. So we spent the extra money for this and it was not any better than stock broke the first time he went down in his race DNF not happy with this product.

    Next clutch lever
Bought this for my Husaberg TE300 (2012). Fits fine, works fine. But, there are issues: no adjustability and the lever shape is designed for large hands and long fingers. My index finger cannot reach the lever, so must us the middle and ring finger to disengage the clutch. If you have long fingers, this lever will work fine. I'm going to write Matrix Concepts, who make the lever, and see if they have any shorter lever options, or something with a bend closer to the bars. The lever should be easy to replace from the pivot.

<br>So, the non-adjustability issue kept bothering me. I solved it by modifying the clutch pushrod. I took about 1/16 to 3/32" off the ball end of it that fits into the pocket on the lever. I chucked the pushrod into a drill and used 200 grit sandpaper to reshape the end into a ball to insure smooth action. This brought the lever in about 3/8" so now I can use it with my index finger like I did with the stock level. By the way, I send an email to Matrix Concepts on their website and never heard a reply. Not too good at customer support, I guess.

Is this OEM length or can you get it in a short lever?
    chris f on Jul 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Chris, they are all at OEM sizing. Not available in shorter sizes.
video description mentions hydraulic? is this hydraulic or cable driven?
    brandon r on Jan 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It depends on your application. If your bike comes stock with a hydraulic clutch, it will be for a hydraulic clutch. Otherwise, it's for a cable pull clutch.
