  • The Race Tech KTM Bladder Cap Kit makes rebuilding WP shocks easier. The Bladder Cap Kit converts the stock piston type reservoir to a "state-of-the-art" Bladder Reservoir like the factory Showa and KYB's.
  • The Race Tech KTM Bladder Kit allows the shock to be filled with nitrogen with a regular Schrader Chuck.

Serviceable and more plush

worth while upgrade, believe the hype

Comments On Aug 20, 2015:I have about 30 hours on one of these bladder kits that was installed when I had my suspension revalved. I just tore my shock down for servicing and was worried I might find the dreaded "beer foam" oil that has been mentioned on the net. Well.. I didn't. Much to-do about nothing. the Japanese shocks run nearly an identical setup, and of the ones of those I have torn down there has been no bladder issues either. One jap. shock was severely neglected, yet again, no holes or beer foam. as far as ride quality there IS a difference and the shock soaks up the smaller hits with more plushness. there is no question. Servicing is also much easier and won't cost you an arm and a leg since most every ever shop can service a Schrader valve type; 10 bucks for a 150psi nitro fill at my local shop. this is a great upgrade and very worthwhile, there is a reason why tuners across America use them. they work!

Used quite a few of them

Comments On Mar 13, 2013:I have modified several bikes with them. KTM's mostly... It allows us to do our own service easier. I think they are well worth the money. and probably saved thousands in service fees over the last ten years.

Fixed the hop

Comments On Jul 27, 2011:Easy to install, set the pressure and go ride. Rear wheel stays more planted and follows the ground way better. Took away the odd hop the PDS shock has. Much improved over the stock set up.
